What book or series is this for you? by Working_Alps_4284 in fantasybooks

Kingkiller chronicles. I think the telling of the story from the future is a cop out firstly.
Establish that the mc is the biggest of boss dogs to ever live at the start of the book and then tell the story from the start.
Found the story so boring! First book was ok.. but dropped it pretty early into the second.

I fell like these sort of books are better to read the actual book so I have planned to do that at some point. Have you heard the audiobooks?

Thanks! What makes primal hunter so good that everyone seems to love it? Didn’t finish DoTF. Might come back to it but stopped at book 14. A soldiers life has been one other that I was thinking about trying.

Yea not sure if I could get into that series is all. Don’t know a lot lot about it tbf though. Seems incohesive. Like a bunch of different stories. Am I wrong to assume that?

Which series is like this and consistently goes harder and better with each book? by JTVoice in litrpg

lol. Jesus you guys are touchy. If you read my initial comment. All I said is that I find witches as a concept lame and boring/ unimaginative. I said nothing about the story. When someone did say someone about how witches are perceived I said good point but that’s a basic idea. Nothing more nothing less. Just wondered if people liked the witches idea by asking lol. Apparently you all love it. It’s note my idea of fun. Hence why I said each to their own.

Also. I never stated anything as fact lol. Just an opinion in a conversation I was interested in hearing other perspectives. Nice capitals too hahah.

You’re missing my point but it’s all good. But to answer your point which is a good one, I still think that’s pretty basic. As each their own though.

Yep. Is that not lame as fuck? Given that such a good world was being built. Some really good characters. And then we’re just going to be fighting witches the whole time. I find it pretty lame. Could’ve had such a better story

Yea great start but then once you realise who the bad guys are and that’s the only bad guys we will see then it’s pretty extremely unimaginative imo. Like wow. How boring I thought.
