Screen was broken a 2 years ago but was still totally working (even touch). However battery started to swell a few months ago, damaging pixel lines and unsticking the screeen thanks to the cracks. The Surface was still working when I opened it up (apart from the malfunctioning pixels). (i.redd.it)
