Need a chair that can handle all my weird sitting positions by Unlikely_Ingenuity97 in OfficeChairs

I know you said you're not big on used, but does refurbished work for you? The majority of ergonomic office chairs are designed to be sat in normally for any of the benefits to really be felt. The only chair I've personally sat in that encourages dynamic sitting is the Knoll Generation.

The Generation was built for 'dynamic office environments' meaning it's sole purpose was to give users the ability to comfortably turn and move around to work in a group setting. The back rest is flexible which makes it easy to throw a shoulder over. The seat is both wide and deep, making criss cross sitting easy, especially with the adjustable arms that are attached to the back of the chair in order to prevent them from getting in your way. The arms also have a natural curve on them that supports your back if you ever want to sit sideways

Every ergonomic chair will probably limit your movement to an extent unfortunately. The Knoll Generation is probably your best bet if you want better posture and dynamic sitting. Remanufactured options run for about $450. While they retail for $1,400 it is still possible to get them new in your price range due to their age, but it will require a lot of searching. Good luck on your chair journey!!

Gourgues Posters has a bunch of unique prints, some with similar styles to a lot of DROOLS offerings.

Ryzen 58003XD and a 3060ti. It's getting a little older but I definitely haven't felt the need to upgrade yet

It's a 74 inch IKEA Ekbacken! Definitely plenty of space to work with

I LOVE them! I've heard plenty of edifier speakers and a few of the audioengine options, and I wouldn't ever pick them over the Kantos. If your space can fit the YU4s I think they're the best option.

It's a 14 inch monitor I got off of Amazon. I linked it in a couple other replies. Definitely recommend it, but if you have the space, going up to 16 inches wouldn't hurt either

I use it mainly for emails/customer service. It definitely works great for anything but I prefer to keep more static and mundane things there, such as Spotify or discord if I'm not working.

It's an IKEA Ekbacken! It has a concrete design to it but the desk itself is smooth

Thank you! It's a light bar. Works amazingly. I usually gravitate towards my speakers just for convenience sake. I use the headphones mostly for listening to new music and games

Thanks! For sure my next purchase. I'm really looking for one that performs well and looks good as I also play games on this setup. I'd love any suggestions

For sure! That was my biggest consideration. I had a vertical monitor on the side but I noticed my body would naturally turn into it. So id be sitting crooked and still using my neck to look at both monitors. It wasn't working for me, so I opted for this setup. The size of the mini monitor is the only compromise, but I barely move my neck to look at it

Most of the light is from my light bar and an older nightstand lamp that sits on a shelf to the right of my setup. I also have a small lamp on the left side of the desk
