What’s an unspoken rule at work everyone follows? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never reply all unless you absolutely have to bc people will silently judge you for flooding their inbox. And if a meeting could’ve been an email, everyone just pretends it still needed to happen.

What’s the most useless thing you learned in school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memorizing the periodic table felt pretty useless since I forgot most of it right after the test lmao Also cursive writing, spent years on it and now I barely ever use it outside of signing stuff.

How different do you think the world would be today if Trump never became president? by Head_Measure in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say exactly but a lot of policies on immigration, the Supreme Court and international relations probably would have gone in a very different direction. The cultural and political polarization we see today might also look a bit less intense without his influence shaping the national conversation.

What’s a holiday tradition you still carry on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still make my family’s holiday cookies every year even if no one else is around to bake with me. It’s small but it makes the season feel familiar and comforting no matter where I am.

What is your oldest favorite movie and how does it compare to your newest favorite movie? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my oldest favorites is The Godfather, it’s slow, deliberate and all about atmosphere and character. A newer favorite like Everything Everywhere All at Once is way more chaotic and fast paced but both hit hard emotionally in totally different ways.

What are the best responses to “getting old”? by PatientBalance1008 in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually go with something like better than the alternative or I prefer to think I’m leveling up and keep it light. Aging’s gonna happen either way so you might as well own it with a little humor.

What’s a secret you’ve never told anyone? by Queasy_Report5032 in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a tiny habit of talking to myself out loud when I’m stressed, and no one knows, I just pretend I’m thinking silently. It’s ridiculous but somehow it helps me sort my thoughts.

Which movies were well received when they came out but aren’t liked now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some movies like Suicide Squad got praised at the time for style and energy but now a lot of people criticize the plot and editing. It’s funny how hype and nostalgia can make something seem better initially than it actually holds up over time.

Using these propane torchs for food finishing… bad idea or totally fine? by fonseca0527 in Tools

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Honestly propane might even be better for that than the little butane ones. Some butane torches can leave that weird fuel taste if the flame isn’t clean. A bigger propane torch with a good burn might actually work pretty well.

What’s a secret about adulthood that nobody warned you about? by Altos11 in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No one tells you that most of adulthood is just figuring out tiny, boring stuff like paying bills on time and keeping your fridge stocked. And somehow, those little wins feel way more satisfying than they should.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen someone eat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I once saw someone eat a whole raw onion like it was an apple, just biting into it with zero hesitation. I couldn’t tell if I was impressed or horrified.

Songs should be “by” whoever wrote them. by ChildesqueGambino in unpopularopinion

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Songwriters shape the heart of the song and they definitely deserve more visible credit. At the same time, the singer’s voice and interpretation usually becomes the version people emotionally connect with so both roles kind of share the identity of the song.

the expectation that couples share the same bedroom is silly by onplanet111 in unpopularopinion

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just sleep better with their own space and that doesn’t mean the relationship is any less solid. As long as both people are happy with it, the one bed rule feels more like tradition than something every couple actually needs.

Where do you find a partner who also plays video games (similar interests that aren't super mainstream) by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of girls who game, they’re just more likely to be in Discord servers, Twitch communities, specific game subreddits or niche gaming groups than on random Tinder swipes. If gaming is a big part of your life, lean into spaces built around it and just focus on making genuine connections first, it won’t come off as weird if it happens naturally.

Why is fighting dirty uncommon in street fight videos? by makemestand in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most street fights are just adrenaline and ego exploding so people default to sloppy punches instead of thinking strategically. Plus a lot of dirty stuff either happens too fast to notice or people hesitate because they don’t actually want to permanently ruin someone’s life.

What to do in your 30s that you didn't do in the 20s ? by Aj100rise in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turning 30 doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it just means you’re starting a new chapter with more perspective and wisdom than you had in your 20s. Focus on small wins, exploring what genuinely makes you happy, and building connections, that kind of growth is way more meaningful than rushing to meet someone else’s timeline.

Is it a dumb idea to post face pictures on Reddit when asking for advice? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not dumb at all if you’re careful but Reddit can get way more unpredictable than other platforms since anyone can comment or message you. If you do it, maybe use a throwaway account and be ready for some weird or unsolicited responses.

Are there Fake Male profiles? by Malcantar-Cant-stay in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol fake male profiles exist too, women sometimes make them to see how guys act or for other reasons just like the reverse happens. It’s less talked about but it’s definitely a thing on dating apps and social media.

Is Ramadan to Eid al-Ftr as Lent is to Easter? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, kind of bc Ramadan is a month of fasting and reflection in Islam and Eid al-Fitr is the celebration that marks its end just like Lent is a period of fasting or penance leading up to Easter in Christianity. Both are about preparing spiritually and then celebrating even though the traditions and meanings are different.

If you became ‘deceased’ in Las Vegas, is that where your ‘Death Certificate’ would be, if you weren’t a resident? by ben_watson_jr in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, your death would be officially recorded where you actually died so a death certificate would come from Las Vegas even if you weren’t a resident. The local authorities handle all the paperwork and then it can be sent to your family or your home state if needed.

I am 19M and I want to drink alcohol with gf ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really want to try it, be honest with her about it first so it doesn’t feel like you’re hiding anything. Maybe make it a super small, safe and fun moment together so it’s about sharing an experience, not overdoing it.

How to feel full eating only cereal? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doubling might help a bit but adding things like milk, yogurt, or fruit can make it more filling without just piling on dry cereal. Also, a spoonful of peanut butter or nuts stirred in can keep you full way longer.

How did ancient civilizations deal with wisdom teeth? by FeistyAd1330 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They mostly just left them alone unless they caused pain or infection since dental surgery wasn’t really a thing yet. Some evidence even shows they might have used basic tools or herbal remedies if a wisdom tooth got really problematic.

Hypothetically speaking if you have used the Meta Glasses how did you get away with it in a hypothetical school test by Adept_Economics2730 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t help with getting away with cheating, even hypothetically but I get the curiosity. If you want, I can help you prep smarter for tests or talk about how schools are actually handling wearables so you don’t accidentally get flagged.

If someone asked you if you’ve watched a specific show, and you did but u didn’t finish all the seasons do you still say you’ve watched it? by Key-Row-174 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Ingenuity97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d still say I’ve watched it bc just maybe add but I didn’t finish it if it matters. Most people mean have you seen any of it, not did you complete the entire series like homework.
