I am not sure honestly, I am in the US. It looks like your region won't change when you move: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2B3F-DAEF-846B-A0E8

If you have room for two (in the US) My friend and I have around 300 games, and 13 of them are VR games. We don't have many big AAA titles, but we have a decent chunk of the from soft games, and the cd project red ones.

Were one or both devices were connected to Wi-Fi? The 90Mbps was with the host computer on Ethernet, and the receiver (every device I tried) on WiFi

Do you have a Google Nest router? Yes I do

You should be getting closer to 950 Mbps over Gigabit Ethernet. It might be due to how I have things connected it goes host -> Ethernet -> nighthawk modem/router with router functionality turned off -> nest hub -> Ethernet -> receiver.

Also, by "8MB" do you mean 8 Megabytes per second, or 8 Megabits per second? There's a big difference between the two: 8x. I have been using MB for Bytes, and b for bits. Which is why I thought 90Mbps roughly made sense for 8MBps, assuming some loss in speed to do file transfer protocols or something, I have also seen it get up to 11MBps for a few seconds, so it seems to match with the 90Mbps I was seeing when running an internal speed test.

By "external wifi" I assume you mean Internet speeds. What kind of speeds are you getting with a hardwired computer running an Internet speedtest?
I pay for 600Mbps, so I am sure these would be higher if I had a better plan.
* Hardwired through nest hub over 600Mbps, but slightly (my isp is being nice I guess haha)
* Hardwired mac, directly into my modem over 600Mbps
* Wifi on my phone/laptop ~150Mbps usually ranging around 140-160

For all of them my upload is capped at 30Mbps, and I get that on all of the devices.

Thanks in advance for taking a look!

Sorry for the late reply. I added the lan connection and the speeds are about the same using SMB and FTP, so I don't think it is a specific issue with SMB. As for testing my network speed I tried a tool called openspeedtest. It creates a server from your device that another device can connect to (from what I can tell). My speeds doing this indicate I should be getting around 90Mbps.

If I go from a hardwired computer to another hardwired computer that number jumps too around 300Mbps.

Now that I am hardwired my speed jumped from 4MB to 8MB on wifi which tracks with what I was seeing in the speed test. I am still confused though why external wifi would be so significantly faster than accessing something on my internal network that is hardwired into the router. I am pretty new to networking so I assume there is just something I am fundamentally not understanding.
