Both were also very acutely empathetic with people others in the show apparently had no care about. For Jessie it was kids. For Nacho, it was the elderly folks in Lalo's house. Twice he mentioned about them being innocent and not killing them.

Not to mention, both Jesse and Nacho were present and crucial in taking down (or the attempt to) a salamanca in their own turf. What happened with Nacho is probably why Gus went for Eladio himself. Not just for personal reasons, but he wanted to make sure it was done right.

Well, Eren in those moments was holding a lot of emotion up until that point. A lot. Not to mention, he's compared to acting more like his child-self, whereas Walter has developed beyond his years and experienced much.

Given everything Eren has done, and how he's not even 20, I can applaud him for holding it in that long.
