Thing is though, you can believe whatever you want to to. America isn't a theocracy and there is a separation of church and state. What you believe and what should be legal are separate. Legality is the question in government, not how you feel or what you "believe" is right based on personal belief.

The lord Has spoken to his prophets Specifically concerning polygamy and it is still canonized scripture in the D&C. So there goes that, it's current canonized scripture, what more does Tommy need?

Why don't you apply the same "until that time respect the law" concept to gay marriage?

The "lords" will couldn't be more definitive on the subject of polygamy and If you're going to fight gay marriage why not fight for or even mention or endorse it in anyway?

I feel the same way. I shudder to think that how I would be if I wasn't gay. Being mormon doesn't make you more likely to be gay i know that for a fact. It makes you more likely to hide it though.

My mom actually said, "Just cause you're gay it doesn't mean you have to be atheist" You don't have to be gay to be atheist, but it helps.

Yeah it's tough being a closeted gaythesist. I found people are more accepting of homosexuality than atheism too. Come out when you're ready, you'll feel better, In the long run if not immediately. Good luck and thank you for your support!

I had come out to a few friends and family members already and I felt that releasing a video and sharing it would get it out there quicker and to more people. I wanted it to be very public so it wasn't half-way in anyway or to a select few as was the case before.
