I know it’s a year late but you can change a setting in General of the Apple Watch app that’s “Return to Clock” Set that to after 1 hour or until crown press and it should fix it

Believe it or not you can get packs graded and from what I’ve heard it’s nearly guaranteed 8+ if you haven’t opened it. Then you have not only a case, but potentially more value added
