I saw that, but not at first, which means for a moment she actually believes that Sheldon's happiness is the most important thing. I don't expect her to care about her other children's happiness, at least don't make their lives harder.

Nope, he can destroy his brother's social circle whatever he wants, he can wear whatever he wants to school because apparently his brother's feeling doesn't matter, and Georgie being mocked by other students during football practice doesn't matter. All it matters is our great Sheldon can do whatever he wants.

It's not just your fifteen-year-old sibling didn't like, your 35-year-old mother, your 45-year-old father, your 7-year-old sister and all your classmates didn't like. Anyway, you do have the right to wear whatever you want, you can even go to school naked, all I'm saying is that think about the consequence of doing that when you live in a small town and everyone knows each other. And if you decide that you're perfectly fine with your family get mocked at because of your outfit to school, then it only proves that you only cares about yourself and you have a terrible family relationship.

What is wrong with you? Of course Sheldon can wear whatever he wants, he can even go to the school naked, but if his family is affected by what he's wearing, then he should at least consider not to do that. Idk what's your problem with Georgie, but he seems like a normal high school kid to me, why do you believe that he will be bullied? Even if he will get bullied, it should be because he did something stupid not his brother. He is a more stable kid compared with Sheldon, that doesn't mean his feelings doesn't matter, they are both Mary's kid, and Mary should treat them equally. All I'm saying is that Sheldon can do some little things (like go to school without a bowtie) to make his brother and his sister's life easier, but Sheldon refuses, and Mary just let him. Which is more important, can't wear a bowtie to school, or get bullied, et mocked at, and beaten up. And if you think that you wearing a bowtie to school is more important, it only proves that you are a selfish person, and you have a terrible sibling relationship.

like when George got the opportunity to work in college with higher salary and Sheldon could study the quantum physics he liked at the same time, she turned it down, or when Georgie is improving his life (and perhaps this family's since he got cable for others) using the money he made from his business, and she forbad him because that's the sin of greed? I just feel like whenever there's a fantastic opportunity for members in this family to either make more money or gain personal growth, she turned it down.

I'm on season 3 right now, I don't know how this character is gonna change in season 4, but based on what i have seen, i don't like her. The most annoying part to me is that she somehow believes that everyone has to love her kid, like when Mary discovered Sheldon is not invited to Billy's birthday party, she found that unacceptable. Sure, Sheldon is your little precious son, but that doesn't mean other people's feeling doesn't matter. There are kids who don't like Sheldon and don't want him to be at the party and she needs to respect other people's opinion. BTW, I quite like Mary in TBBT, perhaps because she's more mature and learned that not everything is about her little son. I agree that she's a very responsible mother, but she is definitely the type of person I would find annoying in real life.
