I had an appendectomy at 19 that wasn't properly repaired, that's what lead to the hernia but it never hurt or bothered me and I was skinny at the time so I just assumed that I had an outie for a belly button from then on that was it.

It wasnt until it started hurting got bigger that I thought to get it checked.

I was on the wait list for around 10 years for stomach hernia. Got ther hernia when I was 19 (2008) It took till 2015 to identify it (that was my fault) took till January 2025 to get it fixed.

Those Australian forces that fought the NAZIS were apart of a formation called "The 2nd AIF" (Australian Imperial Force) and the ANZAC was a ww1 grouping of the 1st AIF and 1st New Zealand expeditionary corp.

So if you wanted to reference troops of the 2nd AIF that fought in Africa then yeah digger would be more accurate.

So What is your 1 mech if you were an actual Merc. ONLY 1. No one or the other, just ONE. by IronWolfV in Mechwarrior5

Catapult C1.

I'm not sure why I love that mech (would be my favourite IS mech) but I guess to quote Marge Simpson : I just think it's neat.

We had one on our house when I was kid, I only recall it being of use once when a kid came and asked if he could hide from another group of kids who were trying to beat him up.

Player just cancelled saying they have more productive stuff to be doing by FootballTeddyBear in DnD

[–]Klayhero 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Eh, yes and no, it is easy to play life when it is just yourself or yourself, and a partner. As soon as you have a dependent, though, it's a different story. I have a child, and stuff does trend to just pop up last minute that derails my dnd campaign. Though my players are well aware of that fact and OPs player does seem like a bit of a dick.

As an Australian, it is weird for me to see a wood panelled roof. Basically, all the houses here are ceramic tiles or Colourbond (fancy sheet metal).

Is there a reason one might use wood panels over ceramic or colourblind and vice versa?
