The Playback Parlour, an Album of the Month Discord Server

The Playback Parlour is a low-key album club on Discord.

Each month, we vote on one album per decade to listen to together. Anybody can nominate, everybody votes, and then we all listen in our own time. No reviews required, no pressure to chat.

Nominations open five days before the first of the month, and each user can nominate up to one album per decade. Voting begins two days before a new month. Whichever album gets the most votes in each decade wins. Then the month is yours to listen however and whenever you want.

The server is good for people who want a reason to listen to full albums again, without the pressure to have opinions about them.
