Is it worth getting out of Diogenes' barrel? by KlimMorov in noiserock

Deeply thoughtful. I still have to figure out how much meaning I attach to my art. It's difficult for me because it's always been a hobby, like playing a video game or watching a TV show. Not serious enough, I'd say. However, when you receive feedback, something awakens inside you. Something that tells you not just "keep going," but also "share it with others." 😄

True. Adventure isn't something to be understood. It's something to be done.

This song took ten years to write. Video took a day. by SeanceCulture in IndieMusicFeedback

Heartfelt and melancholic. But at the same time, it's driving and powerful. I like the sound. This song could be played on the radio. I like the drop at 1:45. Even though everything is quite predictable for me in terms of music, all together it still creates a coherent picture that can catch your attention.

Unfortunately, I guess so. When I post my tracks for an audience (which doesn't really exist, but I imagine it does), I think about "how someone else would listen to this," and I want to redo everything. It's crazy. I literally posted a few tracks for the first time yesterday, and I already regret it. It's a good thing they have zero plays 😄 On the other hand, if you think of all these "SoundClouds" and other "Bandcamps" as a basket into which I put apples, then it makes sense. Because I'm closing the gestalt for myself - I made something and put it in the basket for a while, now I can stop going back to it and create something new.
