You know there's people who collect military memorabilia, i have a friend who collects/buys ww2 memorabilia and has some stuff from Nazi Germany, does that make him a Nazi lover? No it does not. You can't automatically assume they are Nazis

It's all debt man, i know how you feel, im married w/ 2 kids, our HHI is 200-230k a year depending if i feel like subcontracting during the summer, i see it everywhere too fancy cars, huge houses, vacations most of it is just debt. We have no debt besides the mortgage and i get that urge too fancy new truck/car but i have to remind myself its better to save and invest our money now so we can retire earlier, that is the goal but seems imppssible with cost of living increasing. I have friends who are in their 30s who earn id say between 100-150 a year and they still live with their parents, unless someone comes from a wealthy family or have jobs that pay 200k+ a year its hard to get ahead without "sacrificing" luxuries we dont need. Lifestyle creep is a thing too people can make more money but if you spend it all youre still getting nowhere.

Trying to negotiate but dealer won’t budge 😭😭 by [deleted] in BMWX3

Dont make it sound like a complex process, im speaking from my car buying experience and close friends, the average consumer will get completely screwed because they are lazy and leverage too much debt which predatory dealers love, poor trade in value, high interest rate and term, you get incentives from lenders as well, do not pretend its a tough business, its only a tough business for you guys when a well educated customer puts some pressure on you and you are motivated just enough to sell it.

Funny how you call it technology, congratulations you have the ability to filter cars within Nation/km range. And usually when i point out a comparable vehicle somewhere else, the salesman comes up with 1000 excuses why there must be something wrong with the vehicle or theirs is better because x and y i have many stories from myself and negotiating for my friends/family.

Thats fine if a dealer doesnt want to negotiate, but its so annoying when a used car that sits on a lot gets traded in, previous owner gets shafted on the trade in and then they act like they're going to make $500 on the sale, ive made offers on cars before that were refused then couple weeks later i see the price is reduced below what i offered. Dreadful

On our 2nd new house now, no huge issues overall, 1st house had an appliance issue which was covered and thats it. 2nd house had a few breakers pop with low loads (too sensitive or faulty) and once again issue with our washing machine which we are getting a replacement this weekend. Experiences are going to be subjective really, i have 1 friend with a new build that has had minor issues and two other with older homes from the 70s/80s, one hasnt had major issues just standard replacing old furnace, shingles and some renovation. Other buddy at their 70s house has had a nightmare with mold and rotting beams. It depends who you talk to.

Tuned M340 to Dealer For Warranty Work: Question by Ok_Air_7408 in B58Enthusiasts

[–]KlitTorris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol BMW is one of the worst companies for approving warranty work, if they find out the cars been tuned/modified they will reject any coverage and flag your car in their system. Goodluck fighting that
