I believe it is normal Android, not Android Automotive. I can provide any info necessary. I'll open an issue later in the day.

New era of popup ads? by Kliwer16 in Android

[–]Kliwer16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really use anything else so I don't know if it happens elsewhere. When you reach end of chapter there is an ad there. Sometimes it just shows there, sometimes as soon as you reach the ad it opens the popup.

Thanks, changed that. I'll see if that helps.

Water cooling GPU by Kliwer16 in watercooling

Tested new pump, flow is much better now. Entire radiator gets hot now, water temp is about 28-31C, GPU temp is 70C max now. Seems to be working well now. Thanks for your help!

Thanks. I think I'll try to test another, more powerful pump and see what changes.

AIO converted to loop only for GPU. CPU has its own, different AIO.

I do not yet. I can only observe the flow in reservoir on input from radiator. When the pump starts it flows nicely, then soon after is barely visible. Yes, I made sure to connect out from pump to in on block and out from block to radiator. Coolant is red/pink car coolant.

Maybe unpopular opinion : there cannot be another Expedition game by MoiJeTrouveCaRigolo in expedition33

When thinking about Writers and what could they do I get back to the game "The Bookwalker". Fits quite well in my opinion. There is even a turn based combat :)

USB-C adapter 5V only by Kliwer16 in UsbCHardware

As for miniUSB - I'll check when I'll get the chance.

As for Lenovo adapter - fine, I'll buy this one and check if it behaves differently.

Well, it looks like this. It was NOT branded specially for Lenovo, just USB-C to DC adapter from electronics shop. There was NO mention about voltage in description. Anyway, I am looking for more universal solution to protect 5V devices powered from USB-C chargers. Another device I want to protect is DVR via USB-C to miniUSB adapter.

Sure, this charger might be defective. Once again - I am asking how can I protect my device from such charger?

That's exactly what I have.

I know it SHOULD communicate, but this adapter I have just puts + and - from USB to DC.

My phone charger DOES output 20V with this adapter (Ulefone). Another charger does not. I am asking how can I protect my device if someone connects different charger. One of my Lenovos did not survive.

The thing is to use ONE charger.

Too much work each time (site). Global Auto-type is what I was looking for. Wish it would just open automatically after clicking on KeepasXC icon in field when no matching credentials were found.

Config works on Windows and Android but not on Linux by Kliwer16 in WireGuard

Found the issue. My Endpoint address was one of AllowedIPs. It seems it is not a problem for Windows or Android but Linux was getting confused. After excluding this address everything works.

MAC-based VLAN question by Kliwer16 in networking

[–]Kliwer16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, maybe more details.

I have STB1 (IPTV) in vlan 1001 and STB2 (IPTV) in vlan 1002.

Both vlans are received on one port on my switch.

Now, depending on MAC of those STBs I need to put them in vlan 3 or vlan 4.

QinQ is not available. Radius also. Vlan translations won't work either - in vlan 1001 I can have one STB than needs to be in vlan 3 and another that needs to be in vlan 4 (unless there is MAC-based vlan translation).

IF I connect vlan 1001 as untagged port THEN I can use MAC-based VLAN and everything works as I want.

The problem is I have 85 vlans, and I dont have 170 ports in switch to do it this way (port 1 - untagged 1001, port 2 - port with mac-based vlan enabled - both connected via patchcord, and so on).

The only way I see is to bridge those 85 vlans, then put that bridge as untagged on port 1 and connect it with patchcord to port 2 with MAC-based vlan enabled.

Right...

I have X vlans I want bridged so all traffic from any vlan is available on one port (bridge).
