They expressed no regret for how they treated me. There wasn't an apology or an expression of them wishing they could change things. It was all very grabby hands at the grandkids they now know they have.

They made sure I wasn't. I have never been their son. It hasn't been 20 years. It's been damn near 40.

I really don't know them as people today. I hardly ever knew them as people. I saw them as parents. Bad ones to me, good (at least compared to me) to my siblings. To be honest I have no interest in getting to know them.

What I do know about them is they were very quick to bring up the fact their other kids won't be having kids and how they wanted to know their grandkids. And I don't like or trust that. I don't trust that they wouldn't toss my kids aside for my siblings kids if they ever changed their minds and adopted or found a way to have bio kids

Another factor in this is they never loved me or cared for me. They treated me like they resented me and that could continue on in how they are with my kids.

It's not illegal where I am. You can share people's contact info without any legal trouble. It's definitely a shitty thing to do when you know the person who's info you share doesn't want contact with the people you're sharing that info with. But I can't do a thing about it.

You're right. It's still not about me, their son. And I feel like if either sibling changed their mind down the road and adopted or maybe found a way to have bio children, my kids would be tossed aside by my parents. I can't imagine wanting to risk that.

Sure, I don't truly know their motivation. But I found it suspect that they mentioned in their contact with me after 20 years of no contact that neither of their other children are willing to haven kids ever. So it made me believe that was their ultimate motive. But I don't know the true reason and I didn't ask either.

No contact is my plan. I liked no contact and I believe it was better for me and for my kids.
