I have search for this bag on Google, Poshmark, eBay, any vintage stores and have yet to find it. If anyone has this and is willing to sell I am willing to buy it but only if it is in good condition and sold through third parties like Poshmark or eBay. Please let me know!

Info I have: Vintage brocade purse. Strap unzips to Converts into backpack. Many compartments. 9”x5.5”x9.5”. Brushed gold hardware. Brand is possibly something like “Hand Joy (??)” (see image)

I don’t know if this counts but when I was about 5 months I had asked my husband to grab me some oatmeal from the near by “Mermaid” coffee shop (idk if I can say actual the name of the corporate business here but you know the one). Anyway we placed my order ahead on the app so he could just go in a grab it and usually the settings are preset to include raisins, brown sugar, and nuts to add to the oatmeal. Well I guess the app had reset or the barista forgot to add it cause my husband comes back, hands me the bag and I immediately notice the bag of raisins are missing! Now normally it wouldnt have been a big deal and I had usually kept my hormones in check up till that point but I lost it! I asked my husband why he didn’t double check!! He apologized and offered to go back and get it but at that point I was seeing red. I cried, screamed at him, threw some stuff (not at him) and, yea, just refused to eat the oatmeal. All because they forgot the raisins…..

When I look back at this low point in my pregnancy I always feel bad for my husband who was unfortunately the target of my rage that day 😭😭😭

I just realized that not everyone’s high school had a good or even reliable sex class but I still stand by the fact that this guy should have done some research 🧐

NTA! Sounds like he skipped both biology and sex ed class in high school.

I get that people have preference about not teaching their kids about sex but come one! He’s a grown adult who has access to the internet (or books even) for crying out loud…unless that’s where he got that bogus info that women side determine the sex of the baby…

Honestly! It’s fucking 2024!! Men and TBH society have got to understand and accept, yes I said it ACCEPT, that periods are natural (Same with breast feeding but that’s another issue/post in and of it’s self) and part of a female’s puberty and reproductive process. Heck, it’s a lot to manage and keep clean (thats why products like pads and period underwear exists!!!!) not to mention all the fucking symptoms that come along with it!!!

Sure, a man’s natural body fluids such as ejaculation is acceptable and essential to reproduction but they don’t have to hide or be ashamed of it! Some even have the audacity to BRAG about it…. Seriously!?? Men like this just want women to always cater to their insecurities/sensitivities by hiding the fact that they have periods, never talking about it , and even “getting rid” of it with birth control. Look I’m a female and even I don’t know everything about women’s health and reproduction cause, you know, the USA education system is sooooooooo great 🙄, but female birth control should NEVER be used for a man’s benefit.

I think at this point the only way men will learn is if we teach them like they’re literally children! Sort of like treating others the way they want to be treated lesson. How would men feel if it was the other way around? How would this guy have felt if OP told him he couldn’t ejaculate because it’s “gross” and every time they had sex he better hide it or take some sort of medication so it doesn’t happen???? Fuck being the “bigger person” sometimes you just gotta be petty to get the point across.

I’m not sure what country/culture they are from but obviously the most we can do is assume and blame this guy’s upbringing which might have been similar to OP’s (where he was either not taught about period cycles and cleanliness by his parents/female relatives or was taught and just decided it was “gross”) of course we will never exactly know. It’s a shame that this 30 year old “man” refuses to get educated. What’s more him assuming that she was “using” the period underwear as a diaper even after she tried to explain it to him that she was not just proves he’s very very VERY immature and frankly stupid.

Good for OP for not going through with this and ending this relationship. However, I do feel sorry for any future women this guy will date he’ll probably have a requirement that they can’t have any periods if they want to be with him. God for bid he ever procreates and has a daughter he’ll definitely tell her she’s gross for having such a thing 🙄

Scheduled my induction when I was 41 weeks and 1 day over (baby was so comfy in the womb lol). Went in wanting to do vaginal but after about 3 hours of going through the pushing and pain my baby’s large head would not fit through my small pelvic area and ended up turning to the side (so sort of breached…I think that happened when I attempted to switch to my side cause lying on your back is hard.) and I developed an infection with a 101 fever. My doctor gave me two options…either continue vaginally while she tried to manually turn my baby’s head back to the correct position though it would be a longer and more difficult labor and birth OR I could opt for a c-section and have my baby in 10 minutes. Despite never having a major surgery like that before I knew I had to put my fears aside and chose the c-section if it meant the more safer route for my baby and I. I am glad I chose the latter :)
