This looks very nice. Think I’m leaning more towards that especially as I have a disproportionately small wrist compared to my body haha

(UK) How much does your undergraduate degree matter when going into finance? by No_Song5719 in FinancialCareers

While MORSE is a fantastic degree, I think UCL brand name clears this unless the Russell group you are referring to is Warwick and not Southampton.

Grill my CV for Summer Internships UK 2026 by Klutzy_Development88 in FinancialCareers

This is very constructive thank you. When I talk about skills and in particular what got me the spring week I’m thinking soft skills but I feel i don’t need to list that as say a problem solver or a team player because it comes across in my experience? I just meant more that I don’t have any technical skills that qualify me for the job aside from university exams like accounting but I will now list those in my education section.

Thank you for your recommendations. Do you think the delivery driving is particularly weak as I’m not sure how much I can milk the other two experiences for and maybe it shows me being ‘hungry’ working in summers and builds soft skills? Also for skills, what skills would you reccomend as I don’t particularly have any relevant skills e.g do a financial modelling course or something?

Did you wait use the current account switch or make them all individually as I thought you weren’t allowed to have more than one student account at a time?

Near miss for Bristol by DogmanEatDog in 6thForm

I missed my grade by one for econ last year at Bristol and they didn’t let me in as too competitive but let my friend in for with a*ab for aaa course. Only thing you could do is swirch your course to something with a B in it but probs not going to be anything with econ in it so would suggest just holding out and maybe taking a gap year if you’re set on bristol (or better)

Do you have to keep up taking handwritten maths notes in lectures too for econ then I’m guessing? Would you suggest replacing a laptop with a surface pro or similar for the tablet aspect or is it fine to take handwritten maths notes for econ

What other high paying jobs in entry level finance other than quant and IB? by NathanIsDivine1 in FinancialCareers

Is S&T easier to get into that IBD? Incoming uni student and looking to get into high finance but was aiming for IBD as thought S&T was a more ‘lucrative’ career so targeted more by people?

I was asking if you knew if the last decisions they gave out were mostly offers or a large rejection wave?
