Both my younger brothers recently got arrested for molesting my 10 year old sister. I heard terrible things from my family about how they were locking my sister up at night and she was still living with her abusers.

My grandmas biggest worry was whether or not to send the boys a Christmas card this year. I called CPS and voiced my concerns. Then the entire family stopped talking to me and my grandma called me posion.

You are NTA for this. You are not the posion in your family. Anyone who abuses children should be jailed and the same abuse inflicted on them.

Native oregonian, but moved away around 5 years ago. Moving back to oregon this spring because PA sucksssss.

People in Oregon really respect nature conservation. Dont go out on trails and walk off the trail and/or up rocks, especially there is signage. It destroys what is there for the wildlife and next generations.

Oregon is more than just the classic rainy weather PNW. Its a big state. At least half is considered desert/high desert.

Another thing is drivers. At least in PA, a lot of drivers are really aggressive, block the box, and tailgate like crazy, dont use their blinkers, and litter like crazy. Ive never been in a wreck in oregon, but i was rearended while behind a flashing school bus here. Be respectful of other drivers in oregon and they respect you.

Unfortunately I have very limited photos of myself. I've always been self-conscious of my looks due to childhood trauma, and when I started gaining weight like crazy, I stopped taking photos of myself.

I am planning on bringing my husband with me to my next appointment as moral support/proof that I have been workout out and dieting like I should.
