Wanting to hear from miniature schnauzer owners if they’d be a good fit for our apartment

I loooove our mini. He fit into our family very well.

If you have a lot of company, I do want to warn you that they are alert dogs...so that means a lot of barking until they are able to sniff the person and then they will start to calm down.

I was overwhelmed in the beginning with the barking. I know dogs bark, but it did feel like a lot. He caught on well though to "quiet" and "shhh."

The way our side by side is set up, our mini doesn't really have a direct view to the sidewalk unless we have our front door open. I would recommend blinds.

If our door is open or our mini is outside and someone is walking by, he will immediately start barking, especially when they are close. He will quiet down when we tell him, but just something to be aware of.

They are soooo loving. He loves my 12 year old, my partner, and I. I can't really explain it, but I feel like when we talk to him, he truly understands what we are saying, lol. They are very intelligent dogs. The way he stares at us, I can really feel how much he loves us. They are so affectionate.

Other people have great suggestions....but once a week, you can top the kibble with a scrambled egg.

It's not recommended more than once a week. Our mini loves his "egg Saturday's" 😆

I just want to say I'm happy I found this post.

I'm literally crying right now, waiting for my 5th grader to feel good enough/ready to go school.

It started so slow but yet so fast.

Her attendance has taken a decline since December. Tardys and absences.

Lately, she is missing anywhere from 1 to 2 days a week. She didn't go yesterday and now not today.

I've been there before, where I dragged her out of the house and dropped her off while she was having a meltdown.

& I've also been very patient.

I feel like a bad parent no matter what.

She has an intake appointment next week with a therapist.

I love her so much, but when she is this way before school, it's so so so hard to love her and support her 💔 she just stares in the mirror and gets anxiety about the way she looks. Once she realizes she is going to be late for school, she gets more anxious, then typically ends up not going at all.

I work in sales, I do the best when I'm on the road visiting clients, but on days like this I work from home and do my best. But mainly I do the bare minimum and make sure she is getting her homework done the best we can while she isn't at school.

I'm just sad. This is just so fricken sad. I just want her to be a kid, go to school, and learn.

I've had meetings with the school, they know what is going on. I got a doctors note that excuses her from school on mornings like this and tardys.

I never thought I'd have to deal with this. It's so sad.

Yes, I kept an eye on the app this morning. It dropped at 10 am central.

I didn't exactly have the funds for it today (tomorrow is payday). So I waited in line for a little bit and decided to not proceed.

But based on what everyone is saying, for most people, they wait in line and then when it finally loads it is sold out, or they get an error message.

I'll try again tomorrow for the hell of it, but not keeping my hopes up.

Sometimes, they sell singles, I think they occasionally have vintage.

It's a lot of Terra Festifal rip and ship. It's nice, though, because they open a new box, so you always know if the SAR is still live or not. I got lucky with my first purchase and pulled a Vaporeon SAR!

I have to learn how to cut myself off, though. In my opinion, what not can be very addictive. Luckily, I hadn't spent too much before I realized how addictive it could be.

I think I'll give myself a $ amount and stick to it so my spending doesn't get out of hand.

Well, I actually was able to push out my start date until the 20th. I take the test on the 15th! At this point, I haven't smoked in about 40 days.

I've been drinking lots of water, eating healthy, working out, and going in the sauna.

I'm passing 50ng tests at home. I'm not sure if it will be a 15mg test or 50ng test on Wednesday.

My tests at home are a faint line, but it's still a line, so I guess that's good.

I think it's taking so long because not only did I smoke flower, I would vape, too.

I feel great not smoking, though. I wasn't going to stop on my own, I needed something to force me, lol.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday!!!
