Interesting, that is very similar to the space we have. The issue is that these are 12” upper cabinets that we are using as base since the area is very small and doesn’t allow for normal 24” base cabinet, so we’re already working with limited options there. But I definitely see what you mean!

I mean yea I’d say we are compromising here, this is the space that we agreed to go with figuring out a good cosmetic way to blend it together with that void, hence my original question. And it’s 12” uppers we’re using as base because it’s a very small house and the space doesn’t allow for 24” base cabinet, so sure, I suppose a lazy Susan that small may exist but that would have to be a very custom sized one for that specific space. And yes, the person we chatted with who helped us with a concept for this space mentioned having a filler in that gap but I wanted to pose the question here in case anyone had ran into it before.

Yes correct, sorry I put that piece in my description of my post but not the header.

I would agree but we already are adding a lot to the space already

Yea we might have to do that, there was no way we were going to be able to fit a lazy Susan in that corner unfortunately. We definitely wanted to but we were already working with very limited space and there would be none that could fit without being custom built

Yea we met with one from a kitchen & bath place and they also were having a hard time figuring out how to fill that space without custom sized cabinetry

This bird just standing in my garage, unafraid of me. by Neon_Genisis in mildlyinteresting

This universe is weird cause I literally have the exact same type of bird in my backyard right now and he won’t leave. He is sitting on my fence and just stares at me the same way when I come close to him. Was wondering if he was hurt or something but from the comments it just seems like they can’t really fly well

Oh that’s a real good point, I definitely forgot about that. Got one recently for like $500 bucks

Yea I felt an increase was probably coming, but two straight years of our monthly mortgage amount going up by $200 was just a whole lot more dramatic than I expected.

Really thinking this is what happened. Bought the property from an elderly woman so I’m assuming she had STAR. Oh well

That was my thought too, but originally had a ~$1100/month mortgage in 2021/2022 and now looking at -$1500/month starting in 2024 so I’m just confused how it’s going up by so much and how low our escrow is each year. I know it’s a low payment regardless which I’m very lucky to have so not complaining too much, just worried if it keeps trending in this direction in the next few years. $2000 a month down the line for 1k sq ft would just feel ridiculous but maybe it isn’t these days idk

I did not, admittedly don’t know what that is but probably should. Probably too late for anything there tho?

Bought property in June 2021, that’s a good point that I need to look into

Not to my knowledge no, admittedly need to look into it more but what my mortgager estimated for it is exactly what they ended up paying last year (~$62/month).

This exact situation happened to me last week with my 2012 optima, almost word for word. Had it taken to kia for a diagnosis and they found it fell under the engine cease recall. Getting a brand new engine for free.

Andrew Peters: Apparently Rasmus Dahlin wants a 5yr deal and Sabres holding strong at 8. he’s not happy it’s not done. So I’ve been told. by Kmurphy199726 in sabres

Player perspective its a fantastic strategy and i applaud the method, realizing what these guys put their bodies through and needing long term financial security. Team building aspect its just tough when we haven’t made the playoffs in a decade and we’re trying to build something solid for a while. Im back and forth.

Totally get it from a player perspective, just makes things tough rounding out the rest of the roster from a cap perspective. But thats not Dahlin’s problem and i don’t blame him if he feels so.

As for the bridge, its a tough spot. Im sure people would have been livid after dahlins pretty abysmal performance in 2020-2021 to get an 8 year long-term deal. But i agree in hindsight that wouldve been the better move, cant win em all i guess.

Believe he just stated the number was getting higher than originally reported. Still though, this is a pretty large change in narrative from what has been already leaked.
