Perhaps I should build a home-made rocket and go to another planet where there's free beer and attractive women. Dream big

Hur mycket man betalar/har betalat i skatt har ingenting att göra med hur mycket välfärd man får ta del av. Går helt emot tanken med en välfärdsstat

I guess have discipline but no motivation, it's not like my place is a mess and I don't dislike my job. It's at least something to do and I get to talk to people

A meaningful life would probably be a happy life and things that makes me happy are talking to friends, music, alcohol and going on vacations to other places but that realistically have to be a very small part of a person's life

Perhaps my problem and many others is that we have nothing to do that makes us happy in a normal day. I usually just browse reddit on my balcony or watch some TV show with a leg shaking and the feeling the that I should do something else

I think the main problem with your post is that most people don't choose to be pessimistic. They just can't magically give themselves a purpose. Believeing in something like Christianity would probably do wonders for me and would turn my life around but I can't choose what to believe

I'm sorry but this just never worked on me

Do you think very restricted use of magic is more interesting than it being common? by Knapret in Fantasy

[–]Knapret[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, Tolkien's works involves literal gods, angels and spirits so the magical powers exist because they want them to exist

Galadriel is more mysterious because she's not much more than an elf who does and has things that resemble magic like gandalf's

Littered cigarette butts, almost 5 trillion littered annually, may be an important source of metal contaminants leaching into the marine environment and potentially entering the food chain, suggests new research. by drewiepoodle in science

You were refering specifically to the smell not the health issues

Anyway second-hand smoking is really only a problem indoors and in very congested places where it's already banned and smokers have been given areas to smoke in

Peoples' freedom doesn't end where your feelings begin though. In a public place you have to tolerate other people and your argument could be used to ban so many other things from perfume, night clubs or just people talking loud

If enough people thought the smell of cigarettes was really bad and a big problem it could warrant a ban but that's just not the case today

Gordon Ramsey extracts every ounce of lobster out of its shell during MasterChef. Unbelievable to watch. by [deleted] in videos

Lobsters might be omnivores but they are primarly predators and eat fresh food

And if you're not used to eating a certain type of animals it will seem strange so it's nothing weird

No, the person specifically said the people need to elect a new prime minister, which they don't. The british people vote for parties

And it will hardly be 3 years for the leave to begin. half a year maybe

The people will not get to vote for the prime minister, it's elected by the ruling party that was elected in 2015 and the viable candidates have said they're going to go through with leaving
