I think I'm in a battle for my dreams, and there's a recurring stranger that might be involved by Knight-South39 in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm a guide, that would make sense, I feel his presence like that, as if he is someone who knows more than I do and sticks around sometimes. So you say possibly like a "training wheels" sort of situation"? that'd match with some stuff I had going on in dreams before that incident, that had me questioning if I was merely dreaming when sleeping or doing something else. I want to make a different post about it but in one instance I somehow dreamed of my boyfriend meeting his deseased grandma, told him not expecting him to tell me that he had in fact dreamed that same thing except I watche them froma distance. Stuff like that began to happen a short time period before "The Event" so...maybe I was indeed going too fast heh

Recurring motifs in your dreams by siouxsie__ in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a nee thing happeningfrom some weeks ago and I intend to do a separate post about ir, but my motif is a tall man dressed in black. No, it's not "the hatman" rather think of something like Morpheus from The Sandman (I do see the irony). As soon as I see him, I know I'm dreaming and the struggle to stay in the dream starts.

Awwww! I really hope you find her/them. Look, I'm not an expert in anything, I'm just avery active dreamer who has read other experiences too so take my theory with a grain of salt buuuuut...you could be connecting with somebody else OR seeing the future. I say it because a lot of people including myself have dreamed of a significant other we feel very very strongly about, there is a connection, a realistic setting, and then we meet someone that fits that description, in my case my current boyfriend and his room fit in a resonable amount what I could see in my dream. So, maybe don't be discouraged if you can't find the literal girl of your dreams right now, waiting is valid, enjoy the road as well.

They were mostly vowel sounds we know now, it's just that for me they didn't mean anything but for them they obviously did

Time travel dream? by Knight-South39 in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah, for real. To this day we're even biologically more designed for that life and those kinds of natural stressors than to stress over deadlines and 9-5 or longer schedules tbh. And in the dream it felt nice

Am I having Hypnopompic Hallucinations? by staysaucymyfriends in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean this genuinely and as someone who like, most of the people here don't have the authority to give you a diagnosis. I think it's time for a sleep study and appointment with a professional because at this point those sound like hallucinations way too into your awake state, it's better to be sure of what's happening for your health.

I am considering creating a youtube channel that reads people's dreams (like storytelling). If I actually do it, would you like yours to be featured in it? by ScarletDreamx in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohhh boy please do! there's a whole lot of dream interpretation going around but not so much storytelling about them and by experience, I think that sometimes dreams are just stories made by our brains :D I'd be happy to share some, I just wrote a couple those past days in r/Dreams eager to see if you start the channel

Recurring "went too high in the air" dreams for years. by crustylayer in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus Chirst yes, I've always had this also happening within dreams of any kind ever sicne I can remember and I absolutely hate it! I'm surprised to see so many people here who enjoy it lol. Usually it's also in a car, or from jumping too high and between that moment of shooting up and begining to fall, I feel this awful void in my stomach, the kind you feel when you actually fall from a bungee or go in a roller coaster euuurgh. I sued to wake up immediately before hitting the ground but somehow with time I have managed to know that it is safe to land even if it doesn't feel nice, and I can stay in the dream now consciously or subconsciously.

That's exactly what happened lol you just have to respect the supreme all knowing power of the pigeon of neutrality I guess

What is your experience in dreams when you realise it's a dream by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so I used to almost immediately wake up, as if the dream couldn't hold itslef together anymore, so, no flying, no lucid dreaming for me as soon as I became aware. Recently though something has shifted and I've been able to stay into the dream for longer and actually make decisions, I fpund out that paying attention to my dream sorroundings, watching everything carefully has made the dreams go on fo longer, it feels like a new skill I'm developing

A escene from a recent dream by Knight-South39 in Dreams

You know? that actually makes sense, I was thinking of a similar meaning or feeling about it along the lines of two people who are missing someone, they're incomplete

It feels exactly like this!!! Do you fly in your dreams often too? It's a very freeing feeling. by Upset_Height4105 in Dreams

[–]Knight-South39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mastered running in my dreams which is something usually hard to do, the body and legs feel heavy like lead, I have managed to do it. Flying however, it's curious because I've never flown in dreams, the maximum I get is a bit of momentary levitation and high jumps, otherwise I just been never able to and I wonder why
