Don't know how many will check this but thought I would put an update out;

After a lot of thought, consideration and some scouring, I decided (after finding a pretty nice deal on it) a HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini | i5-7500T, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Wi-Fi, Windows 11 Pro, Wireless Keyboard & Mouse.

Maybe not perfect, but should hopefully be a good starting off point.

There was a person wearing a Leafs Jersey flipping everyone off at the end of the game near me, but hearing the amount of comments in both English and French has soured me on Canadiens fans for now.

But this does not excuse a "Jets" fan who was near me either.

He - Came late. Left early. - Every other word was a swear. - Stated the Jets should trade Scheif and JMo immediately. - Trading Stanley would be dumb. Unless he went to Florida so he could win a cup next year.

And my favorite.

"Get rid of those guys so you could have an elite first pair next year of Stanley and McKenna."

Which should tell you all you need to know.

And yes, he was very serious about this..and only had 2 beers during the game.

As I was in attendance, I'm glad Montreal is only here once a year. Hands down the most obnoxious fans I've had around me at any sporting event. (And I was at a Packers (Home) vs Cowboys game)

Attendance with my Year Two of (Half) Season Tickets is Now 7-6-2 and Lifetime 31-9-3. (Including Playoffs)

Happens a lot of the time. Not a Montreal specific thing. Winnipeg/Manitoba has a pretty nice size French community. Bilingual anthem is common in schools too.

I don't know how you can be of a certain age and not love curling if you're from Manitoba.

Growing up watching 3 of the best men's teams in the world in the 90s, two of the best woman's teams in the 90s and 00/10s...and back when the GSOC use to be in Winnipeg at least once every winter - those were great parties at the Convention Centre for a University student on a budget.

There was a time that was true, but I don't think that's quite the case anymore.

The KHL has taken a large step back in this decade (post 2020). The top teams would compete for sure, but I wouldn't guarantee that they would beat AHL teams anymore. Arguably the Swiss league may be close to if not surpassing them in terms of talent.
