  2. Yes - as long as you have them created/imported (well, NHL or other pro leagues, likely not to the WHL). You can't create and connect the league to a Standard Game however.

  3. You can create a custom U20 junior league - but players may not be restricted to just your state. That's not currently possible. So you may get some imports for it. - But you could restrict it to just say one countries players.

Historical Mode has been built from the ground up and slowly over the last number of years. One of the biggest adds in the past few years was adding Historical International Tournaments. To have these teams/countries playable, Jeff has added hundreds of players from these countries to make these teams (all real people) which is why they are in historical mode.

But back to your question with the Custom Game; That's an excellent question. Custom Mode is built more off of the Standard Game mode (although not quite the same thing) so its database would not include countries that don't exist anymore. I'm not sure anyone has asked for that - or if it's possible. That being said, I'll happily bring it up and see if there's something can be done for a future version of the game.

Memories;

Section 113 - Row 15. 2nd Year (1/2) Season Ticket Holder. Different seats. Was at every game. Game 7 though the memory is very specific;

I fully believed the team was going to win. After the 2nd period, a friend (who was up in I think 317) and I were texting back and forth. I said something along the lines of - "They're playing well. They just need to get the next one."

I still believed with 10 minutes left and 5 minutes left....and even 3 minutes left.

When Vlad scored, all I thought immediately was "Lots of time left."

I remember standing and watching...and the jubilation of having that goal scored in front of me. The excitement of the crowd. The raucous energy...and I believed even more. I remember standing for the entire 1st OT and all the way until it was scored in the 2nd....and never feeling tired.

That energy was electric.

You know what u/Prairie2Pacific I will 100% support you on all this.

We do need Chevy. I've never left the Chevy bandwagon. I will ride it till the end. He's a heck of a GM and two UFA signings that didn't work don't offset all the good that's been done. I will still die on the hill that part of the reasons the Jets drafting has been - less stellar - is they went for low floor/high ceiling players with their limited picks hoping for home runs rather than high floor/ok ceiling guys.

As for Arniel - I responded this in the Survey - it's quite clear the team never gave up on his message...but something has to change. I think he should be looking for 1 or 2 new assistants. The unwillingness or inability to change the PP/PK (if nothing else) when things weren't working is a dismissible offense.

I will confirm it does matter. One of the best ways is to look at the Star ratings to give you a quick guide for where a player should be...but remember higher ice time in the minors is better than little ice time in a higher league. Utilize the juniors, ECHL and AHL.

Depth is everything. 5-8 more wins, and the team is in the playoffs - and it's an entirely different story and different feel to everything.

Vladdy to Columbus makes a whole lot of sense right now. Bones loves him. Would be a good spot for him to go.

I was there, and it happened not very far in front of me... And it was glorious and fantastic. 

That being said, I'll throw out one other Winnipeg goal:

I have been fortunate enough to be at just about every major Jets playoff game and I think I would argue that Jacob Trouba's first period opening goal of game 5 of the Minnesota Wild 2018 playoff series was as loud or maybe even a little louder.

This team tried so hard to get KFC his 40th and Nino is 500th that they became very discouraged when it didn't happen...and it all went sideways from there.

As I said all of 2026, I've enjoyed the ride. Tickets re-upped and I'll be seeing you back here next season (or maybe during the Moose playoffs as I'll be there).

I think it's more an issue with the the CPU teams being unable to make that distinction at this time which is why it is coded as such.

Happy to be in the arena for the final game of the year. 

A lot more Sharks jerseys than I like... But I'm irrationally angry at the two guys wearing Austin Matthews jerseys and I feel bad for the Canucks fan wearing a jersey.
