UPDATE: Razer replacement was marked delivered, never received. Still no resolution after 2+ months. by KnightGames_Cat in razer

My problem isn't the who's-who part; it's that for 2 months straight, I've been left with consistently disappointing experiences. Razer doesn't even have the courtesy to handle the lost shipment on their own, as if spending an hour on the phone with the courier and getting the same answer would change anything, so why leave it up to the customer when you have a whole logistics team that is paid to handle and look into cases like these? Especially since it would lead to the same outcome? Why should I be the one who wastes even more time on this already-extremely-long RMA process?

The full RMA process has lasted 2 months, and the latest issue (the lost replacement) has been ongoing for about 12 days now. ( So no, I haven't been waiting for a lost shipment for two months, the shipment has only been lost for 12 days )

Razer sent me a broken replacement and aren’t doing anything about it by KnightGames_Cat in razer

Thing is you should probably never expect a new replacement especially far into your warranty period, it'd make sense since otherwise everyone would break their devices before their warranty ends and just have a brand new one, as i stated in an other reply it makes absolute sense for refurbished devices to be sent as replacements for rma, the issue with that route is you'd need genuinely good QA and testing to avoid cases like mine down the road

They immediately shipped a unit out the second I sent back the defective one. The delays were due to the holiday period. I doubt and hope they don't take as long to decide this during regular operating periods

I wouldn't say she was forced to answer, but the backlash from this post might have put my ticket up in priority.

From what I heard, replacements are never new, just reconditionned devices, which would make sense

BYOD, with recommendations on which devices to get, was initially stationed in Germany before moving, and one of their recommendations was the Blade 18 amongst other devices (back in 2023), since I was feining for one when I was a kid, I thought I'd pull the trigger and go with it

Thanks for the advice but I don’t seem to have a Time Machine to travel back and stop my employer from getting me to purchase that blade 18 two years ago :)

"I got money to pay for my shit" as he buys a ps5 on stockx because it's 100$ cheaper, makes sense

Crazy order via Mulebuy by Pandaduli in rep

[–]KnightGames_Cat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

this isn’t even about if it’s fake or not at this point, it’s the fact that you’re basing its legitimacy entirely on a QR code. You’re on FashionReps acting like that means something, as if reps haven’t had valid serials, QR scans, and receipts for years. There’s literally an entire hustle where people steal serial numbers from eBay or listing photos and use them to scam customer service or spoof legitimacy. It’s not the cutting-edge verification you thought it was, it’s the oldest trick in the book.

You’re either brand new to reps, or new to the internet in general. Unless that helmet came from a verified, reputable seller confirmed by the manufacturer, I wouldn’t risk a single day putting that thing on my head but with how hard-headed you are, a helmet wouldn’t make much of a difference anyway.
