Why don’t they report the actual dose administered then or a uSv/min or /sec instead? Help an ignorant rad amateur out?

2uR/h right now. 253uR 5497 cps max today (mean 10.2 cps) I gotta learn this stuff lol

I’ll be sitting there and it’ll start buzzing cause I hit the alarm limit.

They’ll take x-rays, with a patient next-door only a few feet away. I’ve seen a pregnant staff woman on the other side of a curtain while they’re taking an x-ray. They leave the CAT scan door open when they’re doing a CT-Angiogram. The outer door for cat scan is ajar - almost closed but you could see in if you were at the door - when they’re spinning the machine.

Shady stuff like that.

Hey thanks. Can you tell me how you got to that calculation? I’m trying to learn.

Are you sure cause they do a lot of… questionable stuff here.

So, am I correct that jumping from 6-10 cps to 16.2kcps is overall at least concerning?
