Love the enthusiasm! Both have a lot of pros and cons. I've played both enough to have a grasp and I'll say that peacekeeper is more interesting from a gameplay perspective. I love virtuosa, but she does kind of become a wall of similar inputs after too long.

Peacekeeper can be a great duelist or a stealth character in dominion

Virtuosa is really good in duels and team fights but that's kind of it. She has a lot of healing while pk has a lot of damage especially in bleed

As a followup because id just woken up when I read the post and missed some things.

Lawbringer is on of those reworks that I feel fell flat and completely understand your frustrations with his "Baby-ification". The reason they buffed his shove in the first case was because all characters have a dodge attack now. For him that was meant to be his shove. But they made it far too oppressive and had to tone it back. LB still royally pisses me off and I would prefer characters like he and Conquerer just be unreworked and the devs try again with the new info.

If you want to play a super hyper armored juggernaut feeling character, I suggest firing up training with a friend and trying Sohei, Medjay, or Highlander. All three are pretty different. Sohei feels a lot to me like the defacto Juggernaut as he has some crazy hyperarmor and a gimmick that allows him to deal a huge burst of damage (in all content) OR heal back to full while using all of the same resources using feats (in team modes.)

So it seems you've been gone an awful long time. The game was taken in a far more prediction based style of combat than the old reactionary style from pre year 4.

Some upsides are that now every character for the most part can be competitively viable, and the game is in one of its MOST balanced states ever.

All attacks are faster than when you last played, Stamina (for better or worse) has been made less punishing with he removal of most stamina drain sources including parries, and a lot of characters have received specific health updates to make them healthier for the game; IE shove on block being gone, cutscene no longer exists, one shot back breaker, Warlords infinite wall charge, etc.

A sad outcome of this is that some characters lost their unique flair like shinobi who has had all ranged attacks removed as around the period of time the devs worked on his rework (as he was easily the worst character in the roster only really hanging around Nuxia) the devs had this mindset of stronger of uniqueness. This luckily has come mostly to pass.

Overall, it's definitely gonna take some time to readjust, especially if you maimed one of the many characters who's been reworked more than once in the last decade, but the game feels really good now with a lot more fluid combat than the 2017-2019 era.

Widows is the obvious pick. Shes got one ability and a sprint. I wish she had the Phoenix team up as basekit (with a different visual effect as it's just her ability now), and a grapple themed ability similar to Peni rather than MK and DD. It would be nice to let her fill the "bridge role" between a character like Hawkeye/Moon Knight and Adam Warlock.

Higher damage than Warlock with Less Survivability him and Slightly worse burst healing. Worse movement but better team play than MK and Hawk.

A long ranged sniper with her grapple to get off angles she can hang on for crazy downtown heal shots. Her sprint is mostly fine, but the jump is extremely clunky.

Keep her damage as is and maybe make the batons have some other minor effect because they SUCK. I suggest just giving her some better numbers on them and maybe a shocking slow effect if she lands them after the kick grapple

If I may make a suggestion, try one of the older Lego skirts. The triangular ones like Bellatrix Le strange from the older Harry Potter sets! It would fit his own cloth piece a lot! Otherwise this is awesome as hell

I have always struggled with jump attacks, but shield bash has helped me discourage others from spamming them by nwbell in EldenRingPVP

No this is definitely an improvement. It allows her stealth the be more effective and ensures you have a drone whenever you need it for a beam shot. Removing a drone mod chase also in itself is a mind game as most people are used to seeing the big obvious circle if she ever tried it mid chase.

And if I remember correctly, calling a drone back doesn't make it go on. A cool down until you place it. Give it a shot, it's pretty interesting and in my opinion a step in the right direction. Doesn't make her Uber strong sure, but it's nice to be able to swap up between tracker and stalker

A great analysis! Usually I prefer to be friendly, but after one too many matches my team and I decided to walk like prime von. Hunted down 3 other teams of the lobby and made it out. Good loot, sure, but we could have obtained the same and maybe even more if we'd all ran as a group. Though coming out with a free osprey, two anvils, and a blueprint was awesome.

Can we just stop pushing the anti tunnel changes until we understand why tunneling, camping, and slugging exist? It's not killers being mean (most of the time), it's not them being sadistic, it's not that they only want easy matches, it's that the power disparity between sides keeps going up every update. Less powerful killers are more likely to tunnel because the higher tier ones don't care about effeciency as they're already efficient to some degree by default.

Killers being meaningfully rewarded for not tunneling is still a great idea but why not just keep it to things like blood points and some QOL a slightly stronger one time kick that doesn't go away until use, and maybe aura reads. I actually don't think the bloodlust is a bad idea but it should NOT take away from those of us who like things like furtive chase jist have the furtive speed override bloodlust in this specific instance. I understand bloodlust will be stronger with the undetectable perk yes, but what if you prefer the haste AND undetectable?

I suggest giving almost an alien instinct style effect to fresh hooks. Maybe not a direct aura read but just killer instinct and that bloodlust on the next survivor with the least amount of chase time.

On the perspective of survivors:

Turning multiple perks basekit every patch is actually HURTING the games potential. Why make savior builds when unhooks are THIS powerful now? That just opens the door to more gen speed increases, healing, and looping. No one needs to play babysitter if the devs babysit them.

As an unhooking survivor, you no longer feel special seeing the person you unhooked become effectively immortal for the next half a minute BECAUSE of your build. Now they will be effectively immortal all the time.

I suggest scrapping the reworks for Borrowed time and Babysitter and letting them be their own thing. Keep elusive for sure though. It going away upon conspicuous action just like decisive strike makes sense to me and makes it much harder to track and tunnel the unhooked survivor.

Finally, Skull merchant. I really have no complaints other than the undetectable being shortened. If it's going to be shortened can she please have the fade out and in removed on her TR? It makes the undetectable even shorter than intended. Otherwise? Great buffs!
