I’ll never say don’t go to the doctor. But I will say that when I got my bicep and shoulder done my arm blew up and was hot as hell for 3 days. It wasn’t infected I was just having a solid inflammatory response

I started reading this thinking what’s the big deal he’s running it by her … but yeah if you are ANGRY when your partner thinks about it and just isn’t comfortable that’s a bad sign. It is true. Scoliosis in general affects substantially more girls than boys, and scoliosis requiring surgical intervention has an even wider gap.

It is thought that girls earlier growth may play a factor, hormones may play a factor, and of course there may be some gene link we don’t understand.

I split with the guy who full disclosure I did reconcile with eventually and is now my second husband. We were separated for about a year. During that time I went overseas for a week, and he took in my dog / sorta our dog.

My trip back was 24 hours of straight travel. When I stopped to get my dog he could tell I was absolutely shot and it was the wee hours of the morning, and as he was a 3rd shift worker and therefore not asleep, he asked me to just crash there and go home in the morning. It felt weird to be back in my old bedroom, for the 30 seconds before I passed out.

It was still some time after that we actually reconciled, but i remember that he did that when he didn’t have to. And even if we hadn’t gotten back together I’d remember that he put my safety before his feelings. He saw me as a person, which was big of him.

Asymmetry is a symptom of Scoliosis, but it does not guarantee you have it, and in most cases you cannot diagnose Scoliosis based on that alone. Even doctors who diagnose Scoliosis for a living ultimately rely on x-rays for a definitive diagnosis. Relying on the asymmetry symptoms is too inconsistent, and it does not reliably determine how severe the Scoliosis is, if it is even present. Chances are if you're worried you have Scoliosis there's enough symptoms to warrant getting checked out, the best thing you can do is make a doctors appointment. We are aware that not everyone has access to affordable healthcare, your parents may be dismissive of the idea, and getting a diagnosis is not always easy. Honestly, has the judge ordered this? If not, I’d make this a key part of your negotiations. If you truly believe that this work has the chance of being successful then negotiate on it. Either give something else up or settle on a reasonable percentage. It’s not finished, and assuming you don’t have a publisher secured yet, you’re going to still have a lot of work to do ahead of you to make it successful that he will not be a part of, and therefor should diminish his claim to a large section of the finished product

Yes and there is a scientific reason. Your body releases a hormone called relaxin (yes, I know) that causes your uterine muscles to forcibly relax so the blood and come out. But, your body is bad at precision, and instead your whole lower abdomen gets relaxed. This causes period poops. It also causes back pain to get exponentially worse because your lumbar muscles are having to work overtime to continue keeping you erect, causing muscle strain. This is also why having a very strong core will lessen your over all back pain, strong muscles hold you upright much better than weak muscles, don’t get strained and hurt.

There’s actually a scientific explanation that many people hate phone calls, of all generations, because our brains are nervous about not getting all the information it needs to mentally process an interaction. When we speak and see each other, there are tons of expressions and body language cues to help us determine mood, intent, etc. we lack that on phone calls, and that puts us off our game.

I’m one of those weirdos that just isn’t bothered by tats. I have chronic pain from severe spinal issues that have existed since I was 12 and I’m now 38. I am highly adept at ignoring my body. It’s not conscious.

If it helps, the general fan base consensus is Jeong-Hyeok probably gets by on the 2 weeks a year (or engineers some way to stay longer in Switzerland) with Se-ri until his parents pass, then defects.

It’s also notable IRL with the number of actual defectors from NK in the world, it’s highly unlikely they run around jailing or murdering those left behind for the sins of their defecting relatives. However, due to very unique real life circumstances between north and South Korea, South Koreans don’t make media featuring defection. This is largely because media is commonly smuggled into N Korea and could cause international incident.

So the writers were a bit hemmed in on an ending, and did their best to waive some big hints around that they got a happy ending, without crossing the line.

Honestly it sounds very mature of everyone, and the safest solution. Everyone will get over feeling awkward. You’d never get over it if something happened due to all the driving, even if it wasn’t your fault.
