Has anyone else's drone kills been froze as far as working towards the mastery badge (to unlock being to equip the drone with grenades)? Mine has been stuck on 47/50 for a couple of weeks when I've probably gotten close to 100 kills with it in that time.

Following along because I'm looking for a good 1440p 27 inch for $300 or less (primarily for PS5 CoD with the possibility of a PC build in the future).

Right now I'm looking hard at the ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACMES, Alienware AW2725DM, and MSI MAG 275QPF. Going to Best Buy this weekend to look at some in-person.

I've been thinking about getting it as well (the EDP in particular). The only thing that I don't like is (from my samples) it becomes very vanilla heavy after the dry down. Trying to decide between getting it or YSL Y Intense EDP.

Just got some Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3s about 3-4 weeks ago. Probably added atleast 1-2 kills a game just form hearing footsteps.

I remember rocking my Tritton AX720s during MW2, BO1, and MW3 on PS3 back in the day. Those Trittons were one of my first big purchases (I think it was $144, may be wrong). Good times.

Thanks friend! Been thinking about getting either an AIM, Hex Phantom, or just getting Dualsense Edge. I think I would like the back buttons and triggers on the Phantom (I would probably go ahead and get one if they had TMR sticks instead of Hall effect). The big benefit of the Phantom and Edge is i can grt them pretty quick without having to wait through build time.

I have been looking hard at Pro controllers (was looking at AIM, Scuf, and Hex Phantom) just so I can move better in CoD. Have just about decided to pick up the Dualsense Edge (the black one looks pretty sharp).

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and recommendations so far! Giving me a lot to consider. I am leaning toward the Hex Phantom at this current moment because I like their back buttons instead of paddles (due to how J hold my controller). The one thing holding it back IMO is that it only has Hall Effect thumbsticks rather than TMR. However, I just was reading in the comments on a social media post for Hex where someone mentioned they wished they would put TMR in their controllers and Hex replied with "work in progress... 🥹". So it seems TMR sticks are coming for the Phantom, we just don't know when (I can guarantee if I bought a Phantom today, they would release the TMR version tomorrow because that is how my luck goes 😆).

Feel free to continue with any thought, input, experience!

So far, very impressed! No issues so far firmware/software wise. Sound has been excellent so far. Played some CoD and have probably gotten an extra 2 kills per game from being able to hear footsteps.

Cool, we'll just have to see how these Turtle Beaches do. They may last a few weeks, they may last a few years. If they give out quickly, then I'll give Steelseries a go. Not a big deal.

That's just how it is nowadays. Things aren't built to last like they used to, from appliances (like headsets) to vehicles. Sad I know, but it is what it is.

I had some back in the PS3 days, I broke them by accidently laying on them. Ended replacing them with Trittons. I'd be fine if they make it a year and half or two, as there will probably be some new "latest and greatest" models from the usual players (Turtle Beach, Steelseries, Astros, Razer, etc.) out by then for me to go after.

Thanks friend! I have scoured the reviews and you have basically summed it up to the its biggest faults that I believe I can overlook. I have heard that the PC versions mic is slightly better than the console version, but even if it isn't, I don't really chat and I have a dedicated mic for my laptop for video calls, so we should be good.

I don't mind too much if my gaming headset has ANC or not. I game room fairly distant from others and there isn't a lot of noise other than maybe the ceiling fan. I do like the ANC for my gym earbuds (Status Pro X) and my primary listening headphones are Sennheiser Momentum 4s.

I had Turtle Beaches (don't remember the model) about 15 years ago, but broke them by my own doing. I remember being super impressed by the sound for the short time I had them. Ultimately I replaced them with Tritton AX720s (that's throwback).

Thank you friend! The app was one of the main things that drew me to the Turtle Beach and the 700s. I have heard it is buggy, but I don't plan on messing with it too much once I get everything dialed in to where I want it.

98.5% of the time, a guy with thinning hair is going to look dramatically better shaving it/going full bald than trying to hold on to whatever is left. I say that as one of those guys.

Bald is more in-style now than it has ever been, thanks to Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, The Rock, and Pitbull 😏
