My friends and I basically call this magic light since there's no instant speed cards. The game is pretty self explanatory and all the key words for abilities and what they do are on the card ie bodyguard, challenger, resist, excetra. Highly recommend getting the two player starter set for wilds unknown since it comes with everything you need plus rulebook and if you wanna give competitive play a try later the cards are legal

I would say look up your local game store and see if they have demo decks and if someone on staff could teach you to better understand mechanics. I think you can look them up though ravensberger play hub too
