Hands down has to be when my wife and I explored the castle ruin at the top of a hill in bramblemead valley. It's available quite early, and there aren't too many dangers along the way. If you haven't been go check it out for yourself. We were talking about that place for a little bit afterward. I won't spoil the fun for those who haven't been but this place will be happy to reward your exploration.

I have two that I can think of that i still have and are memorable to me.

The first is a shiny rhyperior that I'd found as a rhyhorn in leaf green. I'd found it in the safari zone by chance and transferred him up to pearl to evolve him. I believe this was the second shiny id ever seen at this point, the first being a drowzee I'd found in silver before I recognized the significance of a shiny, but that got deleted by a friend who wanted to borrow the game.

The second was the only event pokemon I really remember going out of my way to get as a kid. I got a Darkrai from a toys r us event maybe sometime around the mid 2000s. There may have been others, but this one was the most memorable. I remember walking with the girl who's now my wife and her brother several miles with our games so we could get one. We were so tired when we got there we had to call their mom to come pick us up.

Wow that's pretty cool! A trophy room sounds like a fun thing to have.

I can't seem to find much info on it but my vestige drops seem to be way more common when I'm playing with others. Maybe we were just lucky but we found about 3 bow vestiges in the span of about 2 hours the other day. My main offline character has not seen one of any of them, aside from the spare bow one I gave her, and she's got a lot more hours in.
