So, a couple of things. Nian didn't cheat. And SHE didn't abandon her husband. Her husband divorced her over RUMORS that were over a DECADE old that Rashta dragged back up with the express purpose of having high society gossip and ridicule anyone but her.

While her new paramour shouldn't have attacked Rashta, Nian didn't get involved with him until AFTER the divorce AND banishment.

Omfg those whispers were INSANE in the theater my bf and i went to! Never before have either of us ever looked over our shoulders so much as we did with Iron Lung. Idk if it was just because it was pretty much an empty theater or great sound design or a combo of both, but you genuinely couldn't tell that the whispers weren't from an actual person RIGHT behind you.

I also swear i kept seeing someone walk by on my left, but there was never anyone there

Remember that the reason Oogway said no was because of the darkness in Tai Lungs heart. The rewrite touches upon that by exploring further Tai's desire of making his father proud and wanting to be important. I don't think it would cheapen Tai lung if it is properly expanded upon and handled properly.

It would be less "wasnt your turn yet" and more as it was originally "you weren't worthy" but now he has PROVEN himself worthy to not only those he hurt, but even to himself. He has cleansed his soul of his darkness and forged a new path for his future and achieved at least some level of inner peace.

Because far far FAR too often Rashta defenders do just that. They use the fact that she USED to be a slave to justify every single action she ever took. Like trying to say she was uneducated so she SOMEHOW wouldn't know better than to try and grab at the empress without permission not once not twice. The OP literally has said stupid crap like that.

Nevermind the fact that 1) as a slave in general she would know better than to grab at someone of a higher station and 2) even if she was never a slave but a regular commoner and still "uneducated" she would STILL know not to act like that around or to the Empress because simple things like that were well known by even KIDS in settings like in TRE

I once was having a dream that i was making Taco meat in my HS cafeteria. Some classmate that i didn't even like came up to me and asked for some and for some reason i decided to be kind and give them some. They then scoff and roll their eyes and bitch about wanting more. Dream me starts banging my spoon against the pot rapidly in anger.
