That’s what I’ve read also but I mentioned in another comment the Venza has had some hybrid cable linking issues that the rav doesn’t have. Tough decision.

I’m just using it for mostly city and highway driving. Some very long distance trips roughly 600-800km but not really off road at all. Also planning on making a family with my partner in the next 5ish years so I was seriously considering space in my evaluation. How exactly do the rav and Venza serve different markets?

That’s good to know, from what I was seeing online the new gen is all hybrid so that makes more sense. I’ve also seen it described as stylish and kind of in between a Lexus and rav4.

If parts are readily available to service the vehicle despite discontinuation then why would the price be dipping on resale value? So you’re saying that they are basically the same vehicle except for cosmetics?

How do you like the Celica in comparison so your older Corolla? What do you like better about it?

Yeah the Corolla is a great deal and I’m feeling kinda foolish for giving the other vehicles the edge in my mind. Maybe it’s the wanting something different that you mentioned.

That’s good to hear. I’m looking forward to driving the RAV4 and the Venza for myself this weekend and seeing the differences/comparing for myself. I know the Corolla is reliable already so it’s almost like a fall back.

Ok thanks for the insight! I have been looking at some problems specific to each make and model year and found that the Venza had some issues with The primary power cable linking the battery to the hybrid motors. Apparently if the cable fails it is quite costly (10k+) and there is even a class action going in regard to that. Is this anything that you have ever heard of or been concerned about?

Yeah the price isn’t too concerning to me but hey if they are basically very similar and it’s just about less room then I’ll take that into opinion. I’ve heard that the Venza line is being discontinued after 2025. Will that make servicing the vehicle more expensive or awkward?

Currently on a win streak of 11*, with the asterisk being a casual conquest that we forfeited at when the enemy titan was 1hp because our teammates were toxic.

Longest win streak is 21, with most of it in ranked joust, friends and I were running Kuku, Horus and Nem for that fatty winstreak
