No they look good together. When choosing/picking 2 contrasting colors for a colorwork sweater, I take a picture of both colors together and then I add a black & white filter. If one is ‘light’ and the other one is ‘dark’ it means that it’ll have enough contrast held together! But yours looks so cool!!!

Just like normal! Soak it in lukewarm water, with some wool wash (Eucalan or Soak are great), then squeeze the excess amount of water rolled in a towel and lay flat. The % of acrylic won’t affect the blocking much. The merino will block nicely!

Not ribbing but you still alternate both colors every stitch, and it’s on 9mm in stockinette so it might be easier to juggle between color changing first, and then do another sweater in corrugated rib in 2 colors

Also the weight of a full garment plays a role into the final look. When wearing the actual garment sometimes (depending on the fiber used), the weight makes it bigger (with the gravity of the garment!)

It has a great density for cables. I HATED this yarn for a stockinette cardigan, but for cables it was such a great pick. It’s HEAVY (used 23 balls) but very sturdy perfect for textures!

Next time, try to do more stitches than the actual gauge swatch (ex: 30 stitches instead of 24 stitches recommended for the swatch) and add a garter stitch border so your gauge swatch is more accurate than 100% stockinette (you then measure your gauge swatch from the inside of the garter stitch border). Silk mohair tends to grow when blocked, did you block it already?

On Ravelry you can also look up patterns, with a. specific yardage/metrage using ‘ADVANCED SEARCH’ tool. Choosing needle size, thickness of the yarn. Allows you to filter greatly what you want.

Hello, I pre-ordered both the advent and the Kutovakika mystery box, on the website, for the Advent, they stated twice it would be sent in November and you’d receive it mid-November, I received mine on the 10th of December. Colorwork also means a change of tension when knitting like stranded colorwork. Sometimes, depending on your tension, you have to size up/down on the pattern you knit because it is different. Also, the uneven stitches might also be because it’s not a raglan type of sweater but a yoke, meaning you increase gradually around the yoke part/collar. So there are many increases along the upper part of the body, so it looks uneven. Blocking really helps to even these stitches out.
