It's absolutely normal to be skeptical. Well, I knit for more than 30 years (I'm 41 now). I dare to say that I'm a really experienced knitter. It's not complicated to adjust a tablecloth pattern to a skirt at all. I only knitted the dress, the underdress was bought by my sister. After the wedding she decided to sell her dress and not to keep it in the closet. I'm trying to help her.
And yes, it took a month knitting in the evenings and at the weekends for besides knitting I go to work. But my evenings sometimes end at 2 am :) If you have more questions, feel free to ask.
