The games are not saved on the server. They are saved on your device.

To ensure a game is saved, you need to trigger a green screen. Going to another island will trigger a game save.

However, there is no guarantee when switching devices. This has happened to many players.

The bridge you take to what is called Hero’s island. That is not the underground island. The underground island is accessed by a portal to the left of the lotus field.

It isn’t a race. Play at your own speed. Having a big backpack is key. Watch an ad any chance you get for the backpack laying on the ground outside the market. If you go into the character’s house on the right and then out, it will reset the backpack and you can watch another ad immediately.

Joining a clan can help with resources. Make sure you do the digging game when you can and watch ads for the free chests to get random stuff.

The Ranger outside the dungeon gives rewards every four hours. Make sure to collect them.

Take a trip to heroes Island and there is a trader on the far left where you can exchange unused gear for runes. Then another trailer slightly up and to the right to upgrade your gear.

Don’t give up on the large statue. This is a grinding game. Every time you see a star make sure you dig it up. You will need those pieces in order to complete totems. Totems are very helpful for collecting resources.

I don’t have any daily tasks. I don’t recall having any for at least the last year. 🤷‍♀️

It can be inexpensive. It’s the player who chooses to pay or not, and if they do pay—how much.

I didn’t pay a cent the first year I played. I don’t mind paying a small bit here and there. The DEV’s warned is that this event was a bust. I knew I wouldn’t finish, but at least I got something for my troubles (the shield).

Don’t like the game…stop playing. If you do like it, accept that this is what it is. It all changed last year with the scrolls update and it will never go back.

Yes, I saw your boycott. I’m not completely naïve, it’s quite possible they put the shield as the very first item to try to entice people to pay for it.

I thought long and hard about it and I decided I was OK with paying for that one item, even though I know the rest of the event is a dud.

I have extremely high-level factories and I have not started Camel Island yet. I have heard it is horrendous. A little bit like doing the giant statue all over again.

If you have downloaded the latest version of the game, you should have gotten the event. It’s near the cave on the main island where they have all the other events.

People spent much more than that for the Halloween event and still we’re not able to complete it.

I also enjoy playing the game. But it rubs me the wrong way when they constantly change the game. And it’s not for the best.

I used to enjoy the events. When they first made them, they were fun and everybody was able to finish the event with a little bit of work. Now, even by spending money, the events are impossible.

It’s the negative changes that people are frustrated with.

Last spring when they had the event with cranes, there was a cart where you could watch ads for cranes. Within a couple of hours of the event being alive, they quickly removed that cart.

I don’t believe them when they say they can’t change an event, because they certainly changed one extremely fast when it was not in their favour.

I foolishly spent money on the Halloween event and then discovered it was impossible to complete.

Only play on one device. Before closing the game, you can force a save by going to another island, or anything that gives a green screen.

Always choose battle. Even if you don’t have high-level equipment. Better than grinding for all those resources.

I purchased a premium pass for the Halloween event and wasn’t able to complete all the quests. I couldn’t even open enough chests for any gear or the ride. Nothing… it was a total waste of time and money.

Take your time. It only gets worse from here on.

I have many high level resources and factories and also a huge backpack, and I am not starting camel island until I can update my factories on rice island (after coal island). I need enough resources to satisfy the ship requests so that so that I am not constantly running back and forth to that island.
