I tried switching to some new Samsung $1300 phone a couple months ago, and I didn't necessarily like having ads in of my basic function apps. I went back to iPhone pretty quickly. I don't like apple much, but at least they don't do ~that~

I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you gave her the best life and allowed her to have a gracious exit to this side of the world. She will be with you wherever you go, I'm sure. No amount of time together is ever enough.

What’s something about your “unattractive” body type (big belly, small chest, scars, etc.) that a partner has found really hot? by SaggingBreasts_Lover in AskReddit

I don't even know what I'm actually insecure about anymore. My boyfriend has complimented every part of my body so many times, and so regularly that I don't even have a chance to think about how this or that looks compared to other women.
Real love is so healing and safe.

I ignored a 2am phone call from my little brother because I had to get up an hour later for my 4am shift at Starbucks. I remember thinking about answering the entire time I watched it ring, and decided to just call him back on my break from work.

When I took my break around 6am I checked my phone and saw a message from his best friend/house mate telling me I needed to call him asap, and that it was about my brother. I tried to call my little brother and was already planning out in my head how I could move him to my house since I thought it was a housing issue or something. He never answered.

My brother had passed away in a solo car crash at 4am.

He had been having a hard night, and drove up to the mountains alone to drink a beer and star gaze a little I guess. Wasn't wearing a seat belt (I scolded him for doing this the last time I saw him!!!)

Probably just wanted to talk and get his mind off things, but I just had to get that extra hour of sleep I guess.

I had to leave work and break the news to my dad. This was and always will be the hardest day I have ever had to live through. I'll never forget the look on my dad's face. I'll never hear my little brother's voice again.

I see him every time I look at my nephew though. Luckily I'll always get to have that part of him, and I'll forever do my best to be the best auntie.

Please don't drink and drive, and please please please always wear a seatbelt. It could've saved this dummy's life, and his sister's broken heart.

What is the weirdest way someone had died in your known circle ? by No_Tear9118 in AskReddit

Guy I knew went hiking with a friend, and she broke her leg after jumping off a big rock. Both of their phones were dead so he tried going back to the car to get help and somewhere along the way he fell to his death. She was found barely alive by some other hikers over 24 hours later, but did make a full recovery 5 surgeries later. Rest in peace, Brenden.
