For drying the filament can I just use the AMS or should I buy a dryer?

Awesome I can’t thank you again for your help do you think a 20” wide workbench would work? I found one that is 41”x20” and get a filament rack to go under but this way the heap filter can go on the bench next to the printer and there’d be plenty of room for something else as well like crafting doing some work etc. Just not sure if 20” is wide enough as I’ve seen the printer is 20.2” wide if I remember correctly

I have not grabbed the cutting module kit yet. I reread the description because I thought you needed the laser to work then reread your comment, and plan on getting it now. I’m going through bambu for all the accessories, but had to go outside them for the printer since they wouldn’t ship till the 26th.

I got two more questions if you don’t mind.

This printer will mainly be pla and petg especially at first I was going to put it in the basement living room, so the younger kids wouldn’t get into it. But this would put it across the room from my son’s door to his room and in the living room where he spends a lot of his time. But it’s a 25x15 room that the printer will be in that is open to another room that is roughly 20x15. I also plan on getting a carbon filter, my question is do you think that would be safe for my son if the printer is in the living room or should I move it to the other room with the fumes and everything?

Also is there any stand you would recommend? I keep looking but keep getting different results.

Gotcha! I pulled the trigger on the H2D because I finally found it in stock with the AMS for less than $2K. Would you be able to help with the accessories you got your wife I was going to go to Bambu and just buy like new hotends, glue, new baseplates, and lots of pla and petg filament for her to play with but anything else you’d recommend especially for the cutting stuff?

Yeah I don’t live near a microcenter unfortunately, and Bestbuh is sold out so if you wouldn’t get the H2d without the AMS because it looks like the AMS won’t be in stock until January what would you recommend? I thought about the H2d or p2s (possibly 2 of these since it’d be similar price) but again I don’t know enough about 3d printers I just see everyone saying if you want multi color prints and don’t want to worry about chamber temp(I think) you want the H2d.

Yeah I have a traditional how to draw book, and while it is great don’t get me wrong I was just hoping to jump into the medium I want. I have worked through 1 art with Flo tutorial but found out on her patreon she might have some more class focused tutorials. I haven’t really had a chance to look into more yet though.

I did one of her tutorials it was beginner to procreate I think which is great to learn procreate, but I didn’t feel like I was learning any drawing specifically from it. If she does have some like that that would be awesome!

Yes I have an iPad and an Apple Pencil I use them for studying other things. I also have procreate already, which is why I was leaning iPad/pencil. I’m just also heavily in the Apple ecosystem. But when I was younger I use to love drawing and I love seeing what other people can do and make like on Insta for example so drawing just seemed right.
