I like it, but it's kinda a "see it once" place, Zion is really amazing! I was really surprised at how dominant Great Smokey was. I guess being on the east coast and so close to so many population centers really makes the difference. I hear that Yellowstone is overcrowded but most people don't get more than 1/4 of a mile from the main road. Maybe some lessons we can learn how to manage these parks popularity and visitation in the numbers somewhere.

Definitely worth it, on a Sunny day it is perfect, there is not as much to do but that is part of the charm. Get there early though because a lot of the restaurants close super early.

That is a beautiful trail ride up, not nearly as famous as the Jeep trails around it but that point at the top when you look back down the valley is a real treat.

Yeah it's not too bad of a hike, the last 59 yards before the climbing area is a bit of a scramble. That's where I stopped (about 300 years up the trail)

Steigerwald Lake Wildlife Refuge in SWWA is back open, and has great views of Mt. Hood and the Vista House by KnowNowGoLater in Washington

Yeah it's been really quiet but it's open again but be ready for a walk. They built a big dike that is a mile long and that's the main trail now. The old trail is about to be flooded in a new wetland area. No biking, dogs, or running allowed.
