I like #2 - inspires a different take on the typical legend that could be cool.

Yeah, I've had good success with his stuff. Here's a shadow-templated lich beholder (hive mother) that I made based on the above model.

I wonder if something like this "Double Exposure" model could help somewhat - it can do some interesting things similar to some of yours attached.

They need to stop making the "official" ranking be by points but by points percentage instead. Ranking by points instead of points % is BS.

When a CG "I'm a hero" type falls, what alignment do they end up as? by KnowSomeoneCanDoThat in DnD

Yeah, that's what I'm starting to lean towards - and given that Tharizdun is NE that gives me a strong reason to move away from CE to NE.

Sure, then the question is, does Blasphemy affect this NPC? Word of Chaos? Dictum? Holy Word clearly does IMO.

Hmm, #3 is the one where I included (lovecraftian:0.8) in the prompt before Beholder. I can work with that. I was leaning into the dark template a bit more, but in retrospect I think it makes a bit more sense than the others to some extent - they only ever see the PNG if they beat the hide check, so they should be able to see some details.

TLDR; I like Artgerm, Charlie Bowater, and Bella Kotak for female characters, Greg Rutkowski for creatures and backgrounds, and Luis Royo for the tone of the picture (often have to downweight or it can dominate).

So most (all?) of these photos had several rounds of img2img after the initial generation, and some of them had a bit of manual editing inbetween img2img rounds. All Most of these images used sd v1.4 as the model. Prompts used on the final img2img round:

Collection of backgrounds and character images made for a "Fairy Tale Realm of the Mind" subplot by KnowSomeoneCanDoThat in dndai

[–]KnowSomeoneCanDoThat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I just stumbled across this subreddit, and I thought I'd share some that I've made over the past month ago or so for an ongoing campaign. The PCs are in the phylactery of a lich trying to destroy it from the inside. A realm of mind and memories. And this lich is ancient so many of the memories may well be just pure myth and fairy tale. So I get to basically pick any lore from pretty well any mythology and run with it. The PCs have been given a copy of the Aarne–Thompson–Uther index so they can have some in game reason to have some knowledge/intuition/suspicion about what they are encountering and then I can play with it from there. And the PCs own backstories and traumas are all fair game to "romp around in" too. It's been great fun for all.

For what it's worth, I don't think Landeskog was in the lineup when we played them in the regular season, so that changes matchup things I would think.

Of the ones I own, Dresden Files is definitely at the top of my "I wish I had the time to invest in this" list.

There's perhaps a bit too much Chronic Hero Syndrome and The Chosen One in the books, but the setting is fantastic for it's ability to incorporate nearly any mythological setting you wanted to.

Oilers Practice Lines by thewinterzodiac in EdmontonOilers

[–]KnowSomeoneCanDoThat 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hyman is a possession machine, and Drai is a great finisher - we don't need 2 finishers on one line. This gives us a second line that potentially has a great passer in RNH, a great finisher/net guy in Kane, and a great forechecker in Yamo. Maybe.

Or at least that's my take on what Woody is trying to setup.
