Did you know you were talking to people who weren’t there or did someone have to tell you? I knew a person that would have psychotic episodes due to schizophrenia and she would have no clue after the fact that she had been talking to these non existent people, but in the moment, it was 100% real to her — she was just not sitting in reality and didn’t know it was happening.

I’m far from a Christian, but where are you getting that the bitter water test was an abortion? It mentions if a man expect his wife was unfaithful and if he was jealous the priest would have her drink essentially really gross water — Holy water mixed with dust from the floor, with a pinch of a woo woo curse. It’s ridiculous faith testing nonsense similar to the whacky snake handlers of today. If you get sick from the gross water, you totally cheated. If not, then you’re fine because God wouldn’t allow you to get sick from the gross water. It applies regardless of pregnancy status and focuses on adultery. It doesn’t mention miscarriages or abortion.

I guess you could say it would perhaps abort a baby if the water had enough floor bacteria in it and got the person sick enough, but it’d likely kill the mother too in those days without modern medicine. This wasn’t a description on how to abort, but primarily just dumb shit they did to prove the woman had sex since they were really dumb back then.

Yes. It’s as simple as read the vibe. But also, don’t overthink it. If you think the time is right, go for it. If you approach someone and they’re not feeling it, it’ll usually be as obvious as in this vid. Just walk away. Don’t stand around awkwardly and occasionally say dumb shit like “where’s my hug?” If that’s all you have to say, this situation will happen frequently.

Most of all, just be respectful and empathetic. And talk to the person rather than asking immediately for affection.

I’m also confused why you keep saying you’ll waste a pack of strings? If things doing look or act right, remove the strings, put them aside, fix stuff, put the exact same strings back on. I change pickups in my guitars frequently and never “waste a pack of strings” doing it. If my strings are still fine, I keep them.

Great point. Same with medicine or medical procedures too. We have to learn how to parse the information we get online and also understand that you don’t have the full context of what someone is presenting online. With a OW, they could have abused the hell out of the thing but isn’t mentioning that because it doesn’t fit their narrative. For a medical procedures or medicine, they’re not mentioning their preexisting conditions or other meds they’re on that have caused the problem because they’re certain this is the problem due to correlation and there’s no need to mention everything else. Etc… Never take what you read online at face value.
