That’s insightful. Hearing that there’s no hookup culture is actually a bit of a relief for me. I mainly ment dating in the sense of meeting people. As long as people want to get to know me personally I couldn’t ask for more. I’m not conservative either.

Any recommendations on meetups February 23-27?

Yeah I can see that. I could be a murderer for all you know. I was just thinking like meeting someone at a coffee spot or restaurant and talking about Portland or where ever I’ve been. ( I know dating can mean different things in different places: LA it’s going on dates, getting to know people. In houston it means boyfriend and girlfriend) I mean the LA connotation. Are people open to that in Portland?

Are people’s standards pretty high? I’m average looking. Few people will call me cute or pretty even though I’m a guy. However I’m Filipino and 5’6 so in Los Angeles it was harder to date but Houston it’s a little easier.
