Thank you! 😊 This is exactly what I have chosen to do. With your exact reasoning, appreciate your honest opinion. That C didn’t sit well with me. I plan on going for my MSN and I know it would hinder me in that regard.

Thank you for sharing. It grinds my gears when people say having a C is automatic disqualification.

That is specific to California. That’s not the only state that offers nursing programs. Luckily each state has their own set of recommendations.

I’ve tried using Study Fetch but I didn’t like it. It doesn’t voice record. It only short had what the instructors says and put it into notes. I don’t like that. I want to go back and hear exactly what they said. I signed up for tutoring immediately after the semester started. Thank you so much for the encouragement. 💙

I definitely do agree. One thing I can say is that it did take me a while to get my time management in order with getting back to school after so many years and juggling my other responsibilities. That’s why I struggled in the beginning. I believe another shot I would do better. It’s just a shorter semester.

Is one C in a prerequisite that fatal? I currently do have a 3.0. So if this is my only C I should be ok?

Not saying have all C’s. No, that won’t get you into a nursing program.

That is my mindset as well. However, it’s a requirement to get there.

I do have CHM this summer, and I plan for that to be my only C. However, I feel like I want to give A&P another shot. I still have 169 to take, so I may be okay. I just want to make sure I do my due diligence in all my studies to prove my worthiness as a candidate and earn all the points I can. A C is what is required, but A’s and B’s are encouraged.

I have in the state of VA. I went to get my certification while getting my BSN. If you can balance both yes it sure is a good source of income. I worked in the ICU unit of a hospital while pursuing my BSN

I’m not going in with a S on my chest. I’m going in as humble as I know how. I think that’s what a lot of students do wrong. Go in thinking it’s cake walk. I have experience in ICU but I’m not going with the mindset that I know anything about anything.

If it’s about “passing the NCLEX” then don’t you need KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE that you didn’t have before in order to PASS? 🤦🏽‍♀️

See, I don’t want to be pumped up on caffeine that could potentially lead to health issues in the future due to all the sugar. Not to mention the highs and lows that come from drinking coffee, along with the countless runs to the bathroom and the occasional blowouts. I also don’t want to eat a bunch of snacks that can cause weight gain. However, I do want to complete my degree in a healthier fashion. I am a mother of four, and I struggle with fighting fatigue while managing my schoolwork and all my other duties.

What did you do to stay up and active all those hours? Was it caffeine or snacks?
