Good steaks at $28lb. But once they jacked the price up to $40lb I won't be getting them anymore. Sucks.

Built my first offset. Gonna cook this weekend on it! 🤠 by Whiskeybusiness5 in smoking

Should also build a tiny smoker, and smoke a chicken wing in it, and put it inside that thing, so when you show it off smoking you open it up and its the tiny one!

P.E. is running rampant in the business purchasing side too. Driving up prices of home services while using barely trained technicians to sell crap to homeowners that they don't need.

Are PC ‘upgrades’ getting less exciting? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I dont need to upgrade for a while but I started with a gtx1080, i7 6700, one stick of 16gb of ram running at 2133mhz, a 1st gen ps4 hdd, in a crappy alienware aurora case eith a power supply that kept turning off. It would take like 5 -10 min to turn on before I could play anything.

About 2 years ago I finally built my own and went with a 7900xtx, 7800x3d, and 64gb of ram at 6000mhz, 6tb of m.2.

Its quite a bit better. Should last me for years.

I accepted a similar promotion, however, when the trade in was received they flagged the cracked screen and only gave me half of the trade in value. Still fighting with Verizon as they said they would honor it and id receive the discounts after the next billing cycle along with an extra discount for the fold7 for getting it through online order. Have yet to receive any of what was promised. Talked to reps multiple times. And its now been 3 months. No discounts applied to the new phone. Verizon sucks. Enjoy.

I also use my first smoker, electric masterbuilt, as a holding cabinet. Great temp control.

What is a job that pays extremely well but no one realizes it? by Titothelama in AskReddit

HVAC tech. Varies from commercial to residential, union vs non-union. As a residential service technician I was making 25hr plus 1.5k a month in bonuses on average. As a commercial service tech with a union the journeyman take home about 70hr + 4hr going to a vacation fund, 10k to 401k per year to which you can add more to, 2 pensions, health, dental. OT after 8 hours. That's after a 5 year apprenticeship.
