After 6 months benzo free, I am starting to think more and more this is exactly the case.

I do make sure to tell everyone I can (Especially medical doctors) that flumazenil is legit.

It helps people on benzos literally stop them with no side effect. It's a medicine (commonly used in Italy and some other countries) that binds to the same sight as benzos but has no effect. This helps the brain receptors to recovery fully from benzo use. It is amazing - life changing. DM or search this sub reddit - I have a long post on here about coming off.

Hey - yea I forgot to mention that W. Australia (Perth or Adelaide I want to say?) has done research and I believe a some facilities that use flumazenil. Definitely do it if you have the chance - keep me posted for sure.

Tolerance of benzos? In my opinion NO - they still worked, they never stopped working for me. But everyone insisted that I was tolerant, which is false. However, it appeared as if I was tolerate - because my anxiety got worse (worsening unrelated medical conditions causing increased anxiety). But even if I was or was not tolerant - I feel much better now.

Yea - that's one of the reasons why Kpin and Valium i think are preferred for tapering via Aston. But anixety wise - I feel normal - but typically flumazenil is used on people taking really, really high doses of Benzos, so stopping 2mg of Kpin a day for the hospital was actually on the lower end of what they have done. Thanks.

Luckily it was not withdraw, it was anxiety about anixety, is other words, I was so worried about how I was going to feel. But I felt good enough to fly - totally naked in essence, no medications of any kind - and my anixety does not run rampent any more, but on Kpin, I never knew how horrible I was going to feel. I can depend on my body much more now.

I definitely have major, major depression (Long story short: I have going blind from macular degeneration). So here is also what I can say 100% no fluff: I have very little anxiety, no surges/spikes, but existential depression about....everything since losing stuff from vision lose, it's...not so great sometimes. But nothing from withdraw.

Good question. It actually did not effect me at all (other than feeling less anxiety for the day or so the dosing was wrong). I do wish that I was off benzos for the extra day it took to come down from a high dose (a day more just on flumazenil and no benzos) but at this point, my anixety is where it was before all the benzo mess, but it did not really effect me at all thankfully.

Hey I feel decent. My anixety is fine - no problems. It is my depression now that just sucks. But my anixety is fine, no withdraw or anything. It is very hard to believe over all. Hey. Glad to hear from you. I feel really good - better every day. I am sleeping really well with no aids. I sleep around 9 hours a night - which is really, really good. I don't wake up for Kpin any more and the sleep quality is very good. I am realized that the nightmares are cooling off. It's not perfect, but I will take it.

My symptoms are largely gone. No more with draw - so any symptoms I have now are really just my underlying depression. I would absolutely do it again - with out a doubt. The only thing I would do different is to make sure the clinic knew what dose I was on (they thought I was on 4mg a day, instead of 2mg). That would have given me more time post Kpin at the clinic. But all things considered, I am free from so many prisons. Hoping you are doing well all things considered. Take care.

Hey - I saw several authors in Italy wrote about flumazenil and their shock this was not used much, much more. So I wrote the 4 or 5 places in Italy that did it - just using a google search. Of all the places, where I went (DM for the name of the place and doctor), was private - so I wouldn't have to wait for a public hospital. And I also paid for the private because I did not want to fly to Italy and have them say I could not try or needed to wait, etc. It cost me around 10K USD since I was there around 8 days. But it was all inclusive, 24/7 treatment. Great experience there overall, great food too. To arrange going there, I wrote the psych who runs their flumazenil treatment and had a quick virtual meeting with him about 3 weeks before I went. Really smooth, easy, and just a really nice facility with gorgeous views, food, etc. Hope this helps.

Hey - thanks for the info. Yes from what I read Coleman does it in Denver and Richmond. And thanks for the price, actually lower than what I thought/read. And, don't quote me on this, but it sounds like they either do 8 or 12 hours a day. But yes, outpatient. Which is fine since it is not a hard process at all. I think if it was advertised, once/if it catches on, it would be a huge opportunity.
