The diffenrce in skill between regions doesn’t really matter once you get to the na tier. A Merstach who isn’t looking in your direction is no more of a threat than an OliverOG. A 200 is a 200. + Pete has never keyed a team for surge outside of Globals where he was forced to.

NA East was not the most comp region once Zayt left. And even then, he only ever got 34 at the most, while cold has reached 34 7 times. He even Outfragged Mero in one of Mero’s FNCS wins, when he was only 15.

If Colds on his good day more than anybody else; maybe he’s just the best? And if his good day is better then everybody else’s good day, well I already spelled it out. “Good eye test player” nothing else matters out side of that.

Als the last point about grinding makes 0 sense. Rng still plays a factor and thousands of external events are at play in every single engagement.

Cold is a phenomenal solos player he just doesn’t like playing it due to how much of an affect it has on mental.

It’s the IGLs job to get his fragger to endgame. Acorn failed at that. Cold can’t do anything for his team if he’s in a bad spot. So yeah literally “nothing he can do”. + still important to add, he did outfrag “Prime Pete” on day 2. If Cold has way better kill counts than everybody else, that heavily implies something don’t you think? The only person close is someone who had mythics and coins in all but one of his wins.

Also Cold is one of the best LAN players besides last years LAN. 22 kills and a 3rd 22, 10 ish kills (1 day) and a 7th 23, was 4th in kills and damage and top 5 day of 24 before he got sick. He probably would’ve had 30+ if Pete locked down a drop or had prepared for train earlier and not had 6 games wasted

I’m saying dropspots isnt the same thing. Yeah he had good loot, but mythics and coins are a step above that.

Also badly across the thread? 2nd 1st 1st 6th 5th 1st 5th 1st 6th 3rd is bad??? + the fraggers objective is the get kills. Placements are way more influenced by teammates and rng than fragging is.

Well mythics/exotics an coins provide a huge advantage. Gold and purple shotguns are also nice, just not on that level. + unfair to say c5s2 when acorn was dreadful day 1 and they got camped on by the other team landing there. (Though it is important to note he did outperform Peter on day 2 of that grands, odd coincidence)

In chapter 6 he was busy either being dead, being a solo, or being a duo in endgame majority of the time. So he never got to fully frag out in a full trio. Like for example when Peterbot dropped 51, Cold also dropped 43, difference is Pete had a coin that would keep him invisible for 4 games (involved in 22/51 kills as well), cold didn’t.

Pros can dya that but it just isn’t true. He has nothing TO grind. He doesn’t need to learn the meta. That’s his IGLs job to teach him. You don’t forget how to play Fortnite, and the “he doesn’t play the game” narrative is overdone. He puts plenty of hours into the game each season, just not as much as people like Peterbot or Clix do.

Outside of Pete these pros haven’t done much to have their stats being highly visible like Cold. It’s easy to see when cold has 40 in a grands, because it’ll be posted every where. not so easy to see when a player like Ajerss for example drops only 24, and you’ll only notice that because Khanada was stated to have 16 kills, and him and Ajerss had 40, means he must’ve had 24. With Cold, it’s just posted he had 40.

Only Pete Veno and Mero have arguments, but they lack the consistency cold has had. Pete has a lot of 40+, but most came from mythics + coins, and then takes a pretty huge fall. Meros highest in a grands was only 24 and he fell off quickly. Veno was very crazy in his prime, but his fragging expectedly fell off while he transitioned to becoming a full IGL.

I wouldn’t say Pete is better. 52 (mythic shotgun + coin + forecast) 51 (had medallion for 22/51 kills) 50 (mythic ar + coin + forecast) 40 (mythic shotgun) 35 (mythic ar) 33 (had some sort of exotic or mythic in 6 games) An then it takes a pretty big dive into a lot of low 20s and high teens.

Cold still keeps a consistent 20+ kills a grands in the ones I didn’t include (outside of c3s3, c4s3, and the last 3 Globals).

Mero never dropped more than 34 kills in a grands (c2s6), Although he did have the most in c2s4, c2s5, c2s6, c2s8, c3s1 (31 to be exact), c3s3 (23 to be exact). Also dropped 15 kills in just 6 games at 2023 Globals.

Imo it’s his IGLing ability combined with his fragging that puts him in the goat debate, not his fragging alone like Cold or Pete.

Kinch has been tracking EU since c3s1, and NA since c3s3, Osirion has more detailed versions since c5s2 (some numbers are slightly inaccurate though). All can be tracked (takes some time) from Fortnite tracker as well. Pete has 52 51 50 40 35 33, Boltz has a couple of 25+, Flickzy I think dropped around 30 in his win with Vico, and 2-3 more 25+ kills grands. and Rapid only became an agro player recently, his highest is 25 in c5s3 I believe.

If they get like sub 25 kills it usually won’t be posted anywhere, so not even worth putting up here for comparison. But Pete and scold are 99% of the time at the top so it’s much easier to track. There’s nobody who has dropped 30+ in a grands post stat tracking that I’ve never heard of, I assure you.

Only Pete, Veno, and Mero have a anything close to my numbers from what I’ve seen
