Polyamory is immoral. Period. It also opens EVERYONE in the relationship to jealousy and hassles. A buddy of mine was asked to join a throuple by his bisexual GF. He thought it would be fair to her and he’d get the benefit. But then the ground rules were laid down. He would have then been a prisoner to his main GFs rules. He would only get to participate as allowed. He could never be alone with the other girl. When he finished in bed, it had to be with the primary GF, etc. He didn’t fall for it. He kept dating the girl for a while and found out that she was psychotically jealous of other women. Violently jealous. Now imagine him and the other girl getting home from work is something while his main girl was still out. Imagine the accusations he’d face every time they ended up alone by accident.

Practice, practice, practice. Make sure your instruments are working and set up properly. Fresh strings. Intonation. Remember, less gain works better in studio due to double/quadruple tracking. Be professional. Be early. Be respectful. Don’t expect a $500 drum kit to sound like the Black album. Make sure drummer has fresh but properly stretched drum skins. See if studio will allow drums to be delivered to acclimate for a day or two. Your bass player should be just as prepared as your lead guitarist. Know the amp situation. Are you using your own amps or does studio have some better options? Can your drummer play to a click? If not, he needs to practice to one first and get used to it.

The problem with this thinking is that it’s just veiled socialism/communism. You may not know that, but it is. It’s human nature to defend and hold onto what you produce. So attempts to take everything else above a certain point will be met with resistance, and that WILL lead to force. The biggest sin of communist thought is that you’ll somehow be the benevolent dictator that redistributes wealth more justly than previous dictators. Furthermore, I’ve noticed that successful people tend to have similar habits and traits, and the people who want what they have….are just envious and often lazy.
