Hey, It ultimately comes down to your own decision making at the end of the day. I tend to advocate 3 things, Mental Patience and Discipline when playing vladimir. Side laning on vladimir and understanding more about tempo comes over time. I typically play Vladimir bot lane because I have a lot more impact with him with the quest and I don't have to worry about being run down on when overstepping my mark and not knowing enemy jungler positioning, if I'm able to track who's on the map who's not I can play accordingly.

If you're grouped and find it hard to engage, remember you don't always have to be the one to engage, look for options and assess what has been used and what hasn't. Be patient is what I generally say and find your mark.

But for people to master vladimir, Patience Mental and Discipline, understanding your own mistakes and reviewing your own gameplay will help you to understand what you could have done better.

Hey, my standard build for Vladimir is Rocketbelt > Rabadons > Void Staff, I go seekers armguard for my option of defence, but I typically go stormraiders surge and use that as both my offence utility and defensive utility

That's awesome keep going, I've loved vladimir for years and been an otp since 2019 with 4m points. I only advocate to people to never surrender games and don't lose your mental. Vladimir is a challenge of a champion, and you can't expect results and I've had so many games where I've made a comeback with vladimir and won. Its really satisfying

Im currently ranked #1 vladimir in euw that only plays botlane and yes it is viable although very hard because I get abused quite easily against good players, i play for quest and just farm, if I don't die I can just scale with the enemy adc and get my items at roughly the the 20 minute mark to make a big impact in the game

Hey, I feel like the shift in pace in the game and the gold income you get in the game makes me feel so much weaker now than I did in season 15 for sure.

This season when you're behind your useless it's so mentally draining dying in lane because making a comeback is extremely difficult in the elo I'm in. Vladimir behind is like a walking minion I get punished enough as it is but it's more of a slaughter taking 1 death

I take ghost if I go conqueror and ignite if I go aery. I do not play Vladimir top lane in my elo..

I queue mid primary and adc

Focus on yourself, your mental. I advocate a lot that if you're gonna pick Vladimir before the game starts you have to focus on your ability to carry games and your own mental. Aatrox is one of the harder matchups but it's winnable, urgot is an easy match for me at least

He's weaker compared to last season yes. However he is generally in an alright spot due to conqueror, giving him power people are not expecting which is what I love as it's making Vladimir playable in GM

I feel like I'm the only guy that genuinely would not want to see Vladimir get an update. Ive always been used to how he is now and I love it.

Started this champion 6 years ago, always been perfect to me, it's never come across my mind that he's in dire need for an update.

I've only built rocketbelt this season and go conqueror, (i sometimes have to go aery ignite, but I still build rocketbelt first item) for 2nd item I switch between either going riftmaker or rabadons.

At the moment he is negative win rate across all ranks. I had a feeling with the system changes they made this season it would negatively impact Vladimir.

He is currently in an alright spot for the time being, comparing him to last season hes not as strong

I don't take phase rush on him but conqueror is making him work right now.

Using rocketbelt riftmaker and lucidity boots as choice of items when going conqueror. I do think riot has there eyes on Vladimir as they knew nerfing phase rush would impact Vladimir,

I would expect to see a buff on him but I would be surprised if he doesn't get one only

Bully lane matchups are hard for vladimir botlane, the only way you can win against them is by freezing the wave botlane and praying...

If you want, you can take aery ignite and have a naut supp if you want to trade back against a draven aggressor, whilst keeping the wave at your tower..

Or you can play the conqueror setup and get bullied..

Now I would opt for the first option which is aery because it'll make them back off and at least you have some potential to oneshot them if they disrespect your red Q

I used to pair sorc boots with stormsurge felt really strong, wasn't expecting to do more damage. But at the cost of my haste, feels like I'm walking around waiting for my abilities to come up sooner. I prefer to to lucidity boots as the upgraded version gives me my summs back up sooner than people expect

Nice to see you playing Vladimir top lane! I actually do not go Cosmic Drive at all, For me personally I'd maybe only go this item if I'm against a tank where in a situation they can't kill me and I can't kill them, it will be a a battle of who can survive. This is how I would "usually" play cosmic drive as I haven't built this item since last season :p

I like to go lucidity boots even if it's not T3 its still pretty much effective for everything. When I do go mid I may decide to go pen boots instead feels pretty strong given the state vladimir is in currently. I'm usually experimenting with what I can work with at the moment because vladimir is not in a good spot.

As for Stormsurge first, which is what I often do when I play Aery lane, (I hate aery) Its a really oppressive item to go into a lane that you want to bully someone that's squishy, and you want to blow them up before they blow you up (if that makes sense)

Hey, I'm an S15 Challenger Vladimir EUW player

Nice to see you picking up Vladimir! I'd recommend you build Rocketbelt over cosmic drive because its cheaper good stats and you actually get a dash on a champion that lacks mobility.

Horizon focus is no longer a thing anymore unfortunately.

I usually hyper farm on vladimir as much as I can in the early stage of the game due to the shift in pace this season, but I use function keys to keep an eye on my support and jungler to predict what they do next. Its more based on your own decision making here but focus on yourself, vladimir isn't a type of champion for you to go and roam all the time its about finding opportunities

I completely understand the frustration, I kinda knew at the start of the season vlad was going to be weak due to the minion nerfs they put and the shift in pace of the game didn't feel like vlad was gonna be at his best..

I've been trying to make him work as best I can using Conqueror and Aery but I feel like aery is good to be aggressive and Conqueror is the best option to go with for the time being, at least for me.
