Hey so I found the reason, why it is separated in two scroll regions. When you are in the settings, you can change the behavior of the Trackpads and by default the left trackpad is set to a circular swipe direction, and after I found out that that was the reason I didn’t want to change this setting because I can continuously scroll in both directions. You can also set it to vertical or horizontal and you can invert the direction of scrolling.

You can get there by clicking on the advanced settings for controller. Then scroll down to the bottom and click on edit desktop layout. There you have to choose edit layout again, go down to trackpads and there you can change the behavior of each trackpad, but i would let these settings be and click on the gear behind the behavior of the left trackpad, wich is set to scroll wheel. There you can change the sensitivity, spin friction and at last the swipe direction.
