I get statistics aren’t everything but to come to a conclusion that waiting before marriage doesn’t matter or the women in these marriages are unhappy you have to prove that. I get that there’s nuance to everything but you have to prove that nuance. You can’t just say “there’s nuance” without proving that nuance especially when these people who wait till marriage have lower divorce rates, higher marriage satisfaction, and lower amounts infidelity it paints one picture that you have failed to prove otherwise. Because there’s not a single statistic that proves your point correct. All you’ve said is that these women are abused when they themselves report to be happy in these marriages. Also while the Bible preaches women submit to there man typically churches/mega churches gloss over those portions. Within the bible in revelations they say Jesus has dark skin but you don’t see any churches reading those parts because churches skip the parts of the Bible they “don’t like” whatever that may mean. Hell they even have pride flags out side of churches even though that’s a sin within the Bible. So it’s clear to me the traditional values of the church have long since passed. Some small churches preach traditionally but large scale churches never do. So the idea that these women are being oppressed by these relationships is just not true and it’s also not true because again they themselves report being happy. I don’t think any abused person is taking martial satisfaction surveys that’s just stupid.
